A new season calls for a hot new hair look. But what to pick? A daringly different colour? A bold new cut?
Considering all your options and looking at countless celebrity pictures for inspiration can make it all seem like hard work, turning your excitement into exhaustion before you’ve even begun! So ditch the drastic and simply incorporate some brand new hairdos into your daily routine. It’s the perfect way to update your look for the new season – without having to commit to a whole new you.
Here, we show you how to achieve some super sexy sunny day styles…
Boho bun
1.) Lightly mist ghd Thermal Protector into towel dried hair, followed by ghd Maximise Mousse for all over volume.
2.) Tip your head upside down and blow-dry, using your fingers to tousle your hair and create extra lift.
3.) Once upright again, grab a large section of hair from the crown of your head and lightly tease that section, spraying it with a firm-hold styling spray as you go.
4.) Run a straightening iron, such as ghd IV Styler, over your backcombed hair to help smooth it out a bit, before using a soft bristle brush to gently brush out any tangles. At this point you should have a fluffy, voluminous texture to your hair.
5.) Create a slight side parting and sweep your hair up into a ponytail at the top of your head. Secure in place with an elastic band, pulling your ponytail halfway through the band on the last loop so that it creates a loose bun effect, with the ends hanging out.
6.) Wrap the ends of your ponytail around the elastic band and secure in place with bobby pins.
7.) To finish, give your hair a gentle shake to create a ‘worn in’ feel, and lightly spritz with ghd Ultimate Hairspray for hold.
