, Herbal Essences bio:renew Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner are designed to revive dull, lifeless locks for softer, silkier hair. The duo contain a rich blend of antioxidants, including histidine, aloe and sea kelp, leaving hair purified and cleansing any free radical build up. The formula is free from colourants, parabens and gluten and features scents of a white floral bouquet with coconut and vanilla. Most triallers found there was a noticeable difference in the hydration of their hair. Most triallers also reported that their hair felt softer, silkier and more manageable after using the duo. Some triallers found that the conditioner was slightly heavy on their hair, but agreed that this was likely due to its hydrating properties and enjoyed the fact that it left their hair looking healthy. The majority of triallers also loved the white floral, coconut and vanilla scent and enjoyed the high-end look of the packaging. I found my hair was less knotty after using this conditioner and had lots of movement and a slight wave, something I usually need to blow dry to get. The conditioner was really creamy but left no residue in my hair and gave me results similar to a treatment masque rather than just a standard conditioner. The Herbal Essences new range has absolutely no parabens, which is great news for me! Neither the shampoo or conditioner has faded my hair colour like other brands I have tried. Both the shampoo and conditioner state that they are ‘colour safe’ and I can vouch that they both have contributed to my hair not fading so fast like it normally does. The coconut smell is very much like the Hello Hydration range from Herbal Essences, which has always been my go-to until I tried this stuff. It’s such a comforting and refreshing scent and the conditioner is thick, creamy and definitely hydrating. I found I didn’t need to use as much conditioner as I normally do either, which is a total bonus as I tend to fly through conditioner before I even make it halfway through a shampoo bottle.
