9. Speed up self-tan

Because there’s nothing worse than standing naked with your arms and legs out, waiting for it to dry. To speed up the process, blast your skin with some cold air from your hairdryer. This will help set the product faster. Tooo easy.

10.Break in new shoes

Can’t hack the blisters that come with new shoes? Put on a thick pair of socks and hit the insides of your heels with some heat, then walk around in them until they cool down. Warming the material will help manipulate the shape of the shoes, so they fit better.

11.Faux-grow eyelashes

Don’t have a heated lash curler handy? Simply heat up your regular curler using your hairdryer and voilà! Volume central. Just be sure to test it on your arm or the back of your hand first to check it’s not too hot.

14. Revive your shoes

Stepped in a puddle? No biggy. Save your soggy shoes by gently drying them with your hairdryer. NB: Leather and suede materials can be damaged by high heat, so make sure you use the low heat setting.

15. Remove water ring stains

Using the nozzle attachment and the cool setting, point your hairdryer directly at the ring – then increase the heat after a few seconds. Continue blowing warm air until the stain magically disappears.

16. Rescue your pooch

Whether it’s after bath time, fun in the rain or an encounter with the aforementioned puddle, use your trusty hairdryer to revive his coat without messing up any towels. NB: Go easy and use the lowest heat setting (patience is a virtue).

17. Store it stylishly

There’s no doubt about it: Hairdryers can take up a stupid amount of room in your bathroom. To help streamline your storage, screw a magazine rack inside your toiletry cupboard door and pop it in. Talk about tidy!
