Style to try: the boho ponytail

Experiencing a bad hair day? Perfect…If you’ve been keeping an eye on the catwalk recently, you’ll know that it’s all about texture and gritty, imperfect styles.

Sleek, over-styled hair just isn’t cutting the mustard when it comes to the fashion world; it’s the raw, boho ‘dos that are being chosen above other styles – and it’s easy to see why.

There’s a certain sexy, carefree vibe that goes hand in hand with boho styles, and as everyone loves a ponytail, this style is kind of a no-brainer. Plus, it’s pretty much as easy as they come to recreate, find out how below…

–    To begin, apply L’Oreal Professional Tecni.Art Volume Lift to damp hair at the roots and through the lengths of your hair. Then, make it a double-mousse job by applying L’Oreal Professional Tecni.Art Full Volume Extra the same way, to increase volume, workability and grit.
–    Let your hair dry naturally and continually run your fingers through your lengths to create as much soft texture as possible. When your hair is almost completely dry, backcomb the roots of your hair from the crown of your head, all the way down to just above the nape of your neck.
–    Spray the rest of your hair with L’Oreal Professional Infinum Lumiére Hairspray.
–    To make the ponytail, create a centre part, leaving any shorter pieces loose around your face. Pull the lengths of your hair into a low ponytail and softly pull at pieces of hair at the crown of your head.
–    Rub your ponytail between your fingers to create even more texture and movement.

Would you try this style for yourself? What’s your favourite bad hair day remedy?
