Twilight star and possible future Mrs. Pattinson (hey, it could happen!), Kristen Stewart, has just been announced as the face of the new Balenciaga fragrance for women, which is to be released later this year. (Whew, and here we were worried she’d have too much time on her hands with Twilight filming wrapping up!).
According to Balenciaga’s Creative Director, Nicolas Ghesquière, Kristen was chosen as the muse of Balenciaga’s newest fragrance because she, “embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence.” Uh, we’re pretty sure her stunningly good looks helped the cause a little bit too!
And it looks like Kristen’s feeling pretty chuffed about her new gig too: “I love Balenciaga fashion because it is incredibly bold and forceful, yet feminine and sexy,” she said. “I found there was a real creative freedom about this project. I feel blessed and really proud of being the face of this new fragrance.”
Kudos to you, Krist, we’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for what’s bound to be a hot new fragrance and an equally alluring advertising campaign!
