Garnier Olia is the first permanent hair colour powered by oil and not ammonia. The product is designed to provide up to 100 per cent coverage for grey hairs while still delivering shiny colour. Formulated with an Oil Delivery System, the high oil content in both the colourant and the developer allows for the replacement of ammonia with an odourless agent. The product is designed to offer rich, vibrant colour results while visibly improving the quality of the hair.
Most triallers found that Garnier Olia effectively covered any grey hairs and delivered a vibrant colour to their hair. The majority of triallers enjoyed the floral scent of the product and found the texture of the dye allowed for easy application. Most triallers were happy with the colour results of the product and reported that their hair felt softer and healthier after using the oil-based dye. The majority of triallers appreciated the quick development time of the product and that it did not drip during application.

e hair dyes and for the most part I’ve tried them all but I hadn’t tried Olia and I honestly can’t fault it. Firstly it’s oil based without the usual ammonia so no chemical nasty smell or reaction. The scent is floral so it smells amazing and not harsh at all. It’s a quick and simple process that felt amazing from beginning to end. My hair result was a vibrant color leaving my hair feeling hydrated, smoother and silkier. A permanent hair color that’s developed in 30 minutes! Simple to wash out and it came with a lovely conditioner that gave my hair shine. I used Very Intense Red and was extremely happy with the result and how it surprisingly didn’t irritate my scalp like many other hair colors do. I would definitely recommend this hair color and I already can see myself buying this one again.

hair colour is my favourite on the market! It leaves my hair feeling healthier than it was when I began and looking fabulous! The colour covers all my grey hairs perfectly and lasts until it grows out. It left me feeling like I had visited a salon. The packaging is great, it comes with everything you need and easy to follow instructions. There is no overpowering chemical smell that burns your eyes like many other products I have tried. This one is perfect for quality at home. The application is easy and mess free. Dye stuck to my hair without dripping. Once washed out and conditioned with the conditioner that was included my hair felt soft and looked freshly coloured. I used black and it was a vibrant black and the colour did not dull even after many washes.

hair dye is different from most as it is enriched by flower oils instead of ammonia. I love that this hair dye doesn’t have that strong chemical smell that standard hair dyes have. It has a pleasant floral fragrance that makes it much more pleasant to use than regular hair colours. It also makes it more gentle and less damaging on my hair. I used the colour shade 5.0 Brown. The hair dye quantity is generous and it gives an even coverage. After using this hair dye I am very impressed with the colour results. It is a vibrant and rich brown shade. My hair is softer, shinier and just overall healthier. I would happily recommend this product to others. This hair dye is good value for money based on the impressive colour results it delivers.

e the fact that it has no ammonia, as my hair is very thin and ammonia usually damages my hair but this formula is oil based, leaving my hair velvety soft. Love the fact that the after care conditioner comes in a bigger package unlike other dye companies who provide only a sachet, this I could use it a couple of times and keep my hair from getting dry. This hair dye kept my hair looking velvety and also stylish, I have been getting a lot of compliments lately regarding my hair and I am loving it. I highly recommend Garnier Olia for girls who have thin, unhealthy looking hair, it gives great coverage on grey hair and it’s a healthier option for hair colouring, it leaves hair looking healthy and velvety.

eived the Garnier Olia Hair dye in 5.0 Brown. I regularly dye my hair at home and have for years as I like to switch my hair up pretty much as the wind changes. Currently I have quite long (in hairdresser terms, extra extra long) hair which has very grey and white roots (far more than a normal 31 year old), brown mid-lengths and the ends are shades of blonde which I like to add in washout brights. Because my roots are so noticeable because of the greys I’m always on the hunt for a colour that actually evenly covers them and this one has worked wonders! As my hair is so long I actually just did my roots, which is actually perfect since I have the whole ombre thing going on. My hair feels great after using the dye and I feel like the scent of the dye wasn’t as off-putting as some other types I’ve used in the past. I really like the result – my greys are covered and my hair (where it’s been dyed) actually feels and looks pretty great. I will be purchasing to use again next month!

excited to test out this product on my hair instead of my usual at-home hair colour. I have never tried an oil based dye product, so this was a new experience for me. I normally colour my hair every 4 to 6 weeks, so I was primarily interested in dyeing my roots. I should also say that my scalp and roots can get very dry, and blonde dye can sometimes be very harsh on my skin and hair. But maybe because of the ammonia free formula, it felt pretty gentle. I was impressed with a few things about this product. The first is that it did not dry out my scalp, and even when I applied it to my hair my scalp was not itchy or tight. Secondly my hair came out very bright and shiny, and the colour was similar to my usual colour but more vibrant. Thirdly, my hair did not feel like it was damaged by the hair dye, despite dyes usually containing harsh chemicals. The product smelled nice, not too strong-smelling and a pleasant product to use. It was not messy to apply and I found it easy to use and also to clean up afterwards because it did not drip like some other formulas.
