Look 3: Classically cute with Carrie Underwood
Matt says: “This half-up style is an easy look to achieve at home!” Find a make-up look that’s perfect for this hairstyle ‘here’.
Get the look:
– On clean hair, give your roots lift by applying a volumising spray at the roots and blow dry hair completely. It’s best to hang your head upside down for ultimate height.
– Now starting from the nape of your neck, tightly curl your hair with a ghd. Tip: the tighter you wrap your hair around the ghd, the tighter the curls will be, this is completely at your discretion.
– Now gently backcomb the underneath of your crown area with a tightly-toothed comb as this will help to add some height.
– Next, section the top half of your hair, from ear to ear, and secure it at the back of your head using bobby pins or a fashionable clip!
– To finish lightly spray your crown area with hair spray and while it is still wet, gently run your hands over it to smooth any bumps and fly-away’s, then you’re good to go!
