Richard Schaefer is a 21-year-old, self-described ‘Disney addict’ (like us) who’s been transforming himself into Disney princesses for years. And we have to admit, 40 costumes and 30 wigs later, he’s become preeeeetty damn good at it.
“I decided to start cosplaying as princesses because of how androgynous people used to say I was,” he told The Daily Mail.

Ariel
“Curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to transform myself into my favourite princess — Ariel, who I have loved since I was a child. I was pleasantly surprised at how convincing I looked so I decided to stick at it and try different princesses too.”

Belle
Here’s Richard as Belle, and he looks EQUALLY stunning. To get his princess outifts absolutely perf, he makes some of his own costumes (talented much?) and even uses a steel-boned corset and chest padding to master the ‘hourglass’ princess physique.
Cinderella
Yup, his Cinderella look is just as #flawless, with Richard admitting it can take up to 2 hours to get into costume. He also went to profesh makeup classes to master the ‘doe-eyed’ princess look, so there’s that too

And even Snow White. Richard went on to explain to The Daily Mail that he hasn’t always been so comfortable in his own skin, being bullied in high school for his weight.

Not only do I feel beautiful as a person but I feel even more beautiful when I’m just myself, the ball gown is just an added bonus,” he explains – giving us all of the feels in the process.
