Is salon hair dye really better than box dye?
The honest truth is that, yes, salon hair dye is generally better. Your hair colourist is able to create a customised hair colour specifically for you in-salon, while box dye usually only offers an all over saturation of one colour, plus it can take some practice to achieve a non-patchy finish at home. It’s not impossible, but you may need to be diligent during application.

So many great brands to choose from
Yes but they are all good -I usually go for the cheapest on the day.
A useful article if you are in the market for a home hair dye which I’m not
Ooh I like the pink one!
Different I guess. Pink hair always causes a stir.
I have tried all of these at different times and all excellent
I’m using Nice and Easy for a while.
I can vouch for the L’Oreal and Clairol box dyes. Always easy and great coverage.
The pink one looks cool! Too high maintenance for me though
Clairol nice and easy is just so quick and easy to use
I don’t dye my hair but this looks comprehensive.
I love some of these shades, but I’m starting to think I should stop dying my hair and just live with the greys.
Nice and easy gets my vote
Quite a lot on offer here. Big selection.
Very tempted by the pink one
Not for me, I don’t colour my hair
I tried few brands from here.
I dont dye my hair, but its good exposure to when i do start
