Monday Haircare Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

Say hello to the newest kid on the supermarket block. Monday promises salon-quality products at affordable prices – not to mention the range is also free of any nasties. The bottles are made with recycled plastic and they look SO CUTE in your bathroom. We’re fans of the volume version, but they have shampoo and conditioner sets available in smoothing, repairing and, sensitive-friendly variations too.

($10, available at Coles).

Sukin Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner

Those who love affordable and natural haircare, swear by Sukin. The hydrating shampoo and conditioner combo contains shea butter and coconut to tame frizz and repair dry and damaged hair, while olive oil strengthens and adds shine.

  1. I remember Organic care doesn't, sukin doesn't (at least didn''t ages ago when I used those)…now there is way more choice too without sls's and random irritants.

Meanwhile salon brands still use SLSs in their shampoo formulations. I really do not care either and use with or without. Kerastase contains sls's, Redken…etc

  2. I only used to buy supermarket haircare. It was an old version (and an excellent one) from Sukin nourish, Organic Care nourish and was trying random Loreal masks. All have been fab and OC was insanely great! Then wanted to try everything out there….now on some salon stuff. Love haircare…

  3. The Monday haircare looks good. I don't shop at Coles though, there isn't one near me. Alas. – redken also looks nice. Haircare feels even more important at the moment since it might be a while before can safely go and get a haircut

  4. I love Redken products. I only realised they sold them when I went to Woolies a few days ago. I’m not sure if my local Coles also stocks Redken. I usually get it from Hairhouse Warehouse.

  5. I tried to get the Toni&Guy bamboo comb at my local Woolworths a few months ago and they didn't stock it but I did see it available on-line. I have the BEST wooden wide toothed comb I bought from bodecare years ago but they no longer have them.

  6. Unfortunately I cannot use TRESemmé Shampoo and Conditioner for some reason they make my scalp itchy.
Always use Provoke Purple Brightening Shampoo and Conditioner it helps to keep my Silver Hair shiny and bright.

  7. I liked that one while it lasted. It did breakup a bit for me as I left it in the shower recess fulltime. This did not fare it well. My suggestions for that comb is to keep it away from moisture as much as poss. ; )

  8. For my headstrong youngest daughter who says only Head & Shoulders works on her hair, I buy it at the supermarkets usually. She is so funny how adamant and 'stuck in her ways' she is already! She will not use anything else!!;0

  9. I agree. I had a hairdresser trying to sell me a shampoo and I knocked it back because it contained SLS. When she realised she went through all the brands they had in stock and all of them contained SLS. She looked very surprised.

  10. I can't any reason why a Supermarket wouldn't sell these products. They make a profit & so does the manufacturer/distributor. I have been buy OGX for years. I mix it up by buying a different scent each time. Love it!!!

  11. Tresemme shampoos and conditioners are the staples in my household. They are great value for money. I also love Palmolive's shampoos and conditioners. I try and mix it up when it comes to hair care and find that some of these supermarket brands are just as effective as the more expensive ones.

  12. I like Sukin, products free of SLS and silicones are getting a little bit more prominent in the supermarket, palmolive actually make a nice silicone free conditioner I love too.

  13. Used to use organic care for colour treated hair, am using Delorenzo at the moment but but switch to something cheaper. would like to try the Monday range at coles. Comes in a larger size than the one in the pic too and it's on special at Coles this week.
