Did you know that your hair is an excellent carrier for fragrance? As a result of its oil production, hair is able to absorb surrounding odours and smells. Although this can be a problem when we’re standing in a smoke-filled bar, it can work to our advantage when strands are spritzed with the right scent. This is where a hair perfume comes into play.
Specifically formulated to be sprayed straight onto your strands, hair perfume won’t cause damage. In fact, some formulas contain beneficial ingredients to protect your hair from UV rays and restore hydration. Impressive, right? And the best part? They’re an inexpensive way of owning that designer fragrance you’ve been lusting over.
Here are six deliciously scented hair perfumes that will nourish, protect and fragrance your mane…

Have you ever used a hair perfume? If not, would you like to try one?
I had only one, but was more of a serum benefit, scent did not project much
Omg, want them all!
Great idea. Cheaper than some of the body fragrances and gentle.
I remember hair perfumes were big in the late 90’s.
What’s the longstay though? I prefer hair oil.
I will consider that, never tried.
Haven’t tried one before.
Never tried a hair perfume before and would definitely like to try one. I actually didn’t even know they existed.
I didn’t either .Lovely idea if matches current perfume and not over powering
Yeah I would try I it, I didn’t know it was a real thing.
Lovely idea – I know sometimes I find that the shampoo scent lingers and always is lovely -This would be lovely to wear when going out as it would add a layer to my existing perfume as long as it is compatable
Yes lovely idea. Will consider
I’m not sure if I would try one, never heard of them before! , But they sound interesting. I would like to look at the ingredients list before buying one though.
This is new to me. I would certainly give them a go.
Never thought about using Hair Perfume I do use a good Argan Oil. Thanks heaps for your Article love it.
I’d like to try the Byredo Mojave Ghost.
I often just use normal perfume on my hair
For a date, I sometimes spritz the underside of my long hair with perfume. I don’t think I’d buy a special hair perfume. The Byredo Mojave Ghost sounds good: violet & sandalwood! I’ll have to go out & give it a sample sniff.
oh yum violet and sandalwood – yes!!
Oooooh I want to try that Kérastase Chronologiste Huile De Parfum oil and the Jo Malone Hair Mist!!
They all sound so good!
They do sound good, but quite expensive.
yeah I would try this
Atm I’m using perfume, like Misfortune before the date I spritz a bit under my hair
I love the Maison Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge Hair Mist! My absolute favourite!!!
Sounds scrumptious, especially Kerastase
Oh wow I never knew there was such a thing! I’ve always sprayed perfume over my hair… I have very long hair so always want it to smell good… I must give these a go! Nothing better than hair that smells good, and looks good lol
i think they are a waste of money
I find my shampoo and conditioner will have so much fragrance in it that i don’t think I would need anything else.
I’ve never used one but I wouldn’t mind trying the Goldwell Kerasilk product as long as the scent isn’t too strong.
That Kerastase one sounds so good! I wonder whats in that expensive Sachajuan one that makes it UV protective?
I’ll stick to using scent in the usual way
I’d love to try them all
Now this is an interesting idea that I’m definitely trying out.
I have a very sensitive scalp so I wouldn’t attempt to try this and I’m not keen on perfume anyway
I didn’t know about it very nice to know about the 6 famous perfumes for the hair
Why not just spray real perfume in your hair?
Omg! Yes! I’d love to try these. I knew there would be something like this out there. So glad i saw this article.
I am currently using dry shampoo. It also works for me.
I haven’t tried them but certainly would like to😁
Never heard of hair perfume mists but I understand the appeal
They do sound nice, but they are all quite expensive 🙁
I love that Byredo scent.
