Call it what you want (genetics or an incident involving you and a pair of tweezers back in the ‘90s), but there are a few reasons our brows mightn’t be as fluffy as we’d like.
Luckily, there are amazing brow pencils and tinted gels that can fill in sparse patches and mimic non-existent tails. Even so, we sometimes wonder what it would be like to wake up and see Brooke Shields looking in the mirror. Fortunately, the right eyebrow growth serum can do exactly that. And by ‘exactly that’ we don’t mean transform you into Brooke Shields by morning (sorry), but we do mean assist in emulating her fluffy arches.
If sparse brows have been a pain point for years, you might have already tried an expensive eyebrow serum, only to be disappointed after applying it religiously and seeing no results. But, as we’ve come to learn through copious amounts of trial and error, no two beauty products are built the same. And amongst the not so helpful products are a few golden formulas that have the ingredients, research and impressive before-and-after pics to back them up.
So, as one of the most effective ways to stimulate the growth of thinning brows, here are our top picks for brow serums that actually work.
Grande Cosmetics GrandeBROW Brow Enhancing Serum
There’s one very simple reason this best-selling formula has earned itself the reputation of being a cult-favourite: it does what it says. The combination of vitamins, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid in this serum will make your eyebrows look fuller and bolder, without causing any dryness.

Universal Brow Lash Serum
We say: Are you a victim of the ‘90s overplucking epidemic? You’re not alone! If you’re wanting to fluff up and fill out your brows in a more permanent way (for when the brow powder isn’t cutting it anymore) but aren’t willing to go under the (tattoo) needle for enviable brows, we have a winning solution. Enter: Universal Brow Serum. Formulated without the nasties, and infused with natural rosemary extract and star anise, you can trust that you’ll start seeing results in a matter of weeks.

Have you ever tried a brow serum? If not, would you like to?
I haven’t ever tried a brow serum but I sure would like to. After plucking my brows like crazy as a teen they just never grew back. Maybe a serum could help me.
I’m in the same situation. Barely any brows now. I’d love to read reviews before trying any of the serums.
I stopped plucking when covid hit!
I would love to try that Aveda one.
Will try Covergirl, for lashes. Do not need more brows
I’ve used the Brow Code Brow Gold Stimulating Brow Oil on clients after doing brow lamination on them at work so nourishing.
I would love to thicken up my brows but do any of those serums actually work?
I’m using a lash & brow serum at the moment, but I often forget to use it on my brows.
Misfortune please keep us updated in the forums, your thread. Would love to know which and how it works on the lashes. I am on the lookout for a decent lash serum (not one of those that are 80 bucks per 1mL lol)
Not something I need.
Good information to read. Thanks
I actually am okay with my brows after luckily not plucking them much at all in the earlier years but I wouldn’t say no to trying a product that claimed to better them – these look good. So I like their natural shape but could always do with a thickening enhancement?
I’d like to! I could always use thicker lashes and brows
Never really use these
Eyebrow serum, I have not thought of this. Yesterday I had my eyebrows tinted. I have quite thick eyebrows but the hair colour has faded over the years. Sometimes I am happy with the tint and sometimes it is not so good. Perhaps time for serum?
Is love to try brow serums, why not id love to give it a try. I get the odd bald spots.
Will definitely have to try a Lash and Brow Serum, but I feel that I need a Precise Brow Pen still looking for a good One. Hopefully Adore Beauty will have it.
I think I have ample brows at the moment, but its great that this option is out there for people.
Just what I am needing.
I didn’t know Harvey Norman sold these type of products. Did you?
Neither did I….
Just through their online store which also sells heaps of products I wouldn’t imagine them to sell.
Not for me.
I haven’t tried a brow serum before!
I haven’t tried a brow growth serum but I really need to.
I haven’t tried any care for the brows, but does look promising
Not sure if this is worth the effort???
The cover girl and 1000 hour ones sound good
Another area where I’ve never had a problem. Mostly because I’ve never plucked my brows.
Luckily I already have thick eyebrows
I don’t feel need one. But this is great article for those who really need.
havent tried any of these
Didn’t know this existed. Really want to try one of these. My brows are so thin and haven’t grown for like 10 years or more now.
I experienced a lot of damage after getting eyelash extensions and did a lot of research on what a good & affordable eyelash serum would be – I’ve been using dermal MD eyelash serum for 2.5 weeks and have noticed new growth as well as my existing ones getting longer! Definitely recommend.💕
I don’t need this type of product, I let my brows grow thick years ago and rarely pluck them nowadays.
