What is the healthiest shampoo for hair?
The healthiest shampoo for hair will usually boast a long list of ingredients its formula does not contain. Things like sulfates, silicones, pthalates and parabens can damage hair over time, by stripping the hair of moisture or by overloading it with product.
What is the best over the counter shampoo?
If you’re looking for an alternative to medicated shampoo the most popular option for dealing with typical dry scalp and dandruff issues is Head & Shoulders Apple Fresh Anti-Dandruff Shampoo ($7.39 from Chemist Warehouse).

I’ll happily continue with my salon hair items. It sounds expensive but they are economical and keep my baby fine hair in excellent condition. Well worth the expense in my opinion.
Most of these shampoos are a lot more than I usually pay for a shampoo. I hope they are worth it??
I have tried the De Lorenzo shampoo and quite liked it. I would love to try the Dermaveen Oatmeal shampoo soon.
Yes I like the look of the Deraveen one too.
I tried Kloran shampoos, they are quite good.
De lorenzo one is great. Will try new L’Oreal line! Did not know it exists!
I’ve tried the Klorane detox shampoo and it’s very good!
Having a highly sensitive scalp I would go for the Dermaveen
Haven’t tried any of those. My hair is very fussy, so I tend to go for higher end shampoo and conditioners.
I love the look of all of these. I love the bar shampoos lately which save plastic.
I really want to try a bar shampoo, such a great idea to be more environmentally friendly
They are so good Rinny and so easy to take if going to stay elsewhere.
Will keep the Loreal one in mind as it is sulphate free but I am loving the Aveeno shampoo/conditioner I have been using for well over a year now. I sometimes like to change shampoos for a bit to give my hair changes.
I did’nt know it was sulphate free, not something I notice often with L’Oreal
I bought the Klorane shampoo in a Rewards Room, it is lovely and minty.
I love the OGX range. I have tried quite a few.
I’ve used the OGX one and been impressed with it
I’d like to try the Dermaveen shampoo
I’ve never seen De Lorenzo in Chemist Warehouse. But the one I quite often eye off and need to try from Chemist Warehouse is the Kristin Ess range.
I must admit that I have never heard of the Kristin Ess range. Will check it out at Chemist Warehouse when I am in there next
Would be keen to try the Klorane.
The Loreal bond repair does look nice
I often buy L’Oréal Elvive conditioners, but I hadn’t heard of this new variant. It sounds interesting.
I haven’t used any of those particular shampoos. I usually stick with Goldwell products, but I don’t mind trialing other brands.
Pharmacies in general have a much better quality range of shampoos and conditioners than they used to.
i do need some new haircare so i will be buying these straight away!
Im keen to try OGX but i dont have high hopes
I have tried few Klorane shampoo variety. They are all refreshing and cleanse hair really well.
I thought OGX was out?
Looking forward to trying the new one in the mail
I’d probably try Dermaveen as my scalp is a bit sensitive, plus it’s affordable
I have the aquatic mint one and it feeels sooo good on my hair. It soothes my scalp and my hair feels so silky and clean after this.
Love the ogx shampoo
some great options
lovely brands
some lovely choices
Wow the 1/ Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo
from $45.99 at Chemist Warehouse is so expensive. It had better be good at that price. Or last a long time
I’d love to try a small sample before buying a full size bottle.
Yes a smal sample would be great so that one could get an idea if it was good for you hair
I like Ogx it smells gorgeous
I didn’t realise they sell Olaplex at CW!
So many brands to try, Olaplex is nice too
Yes that is a great shampoo too
A more natural shampoo is best for hair and body
I love the Eleven range, but don’t know if it’s available here.
Love the Redken All Soft Shampoo bottle. So glamorous
Head and shoulders is a good brand
I like sweet smelling shampo
Didn’t realise Olaplex is a CW now – must take a look
They have some salon brands too now I see
Some nice drugstore options
I haven’t tried any of these, but I should go browse Chemist Warehouse and see what else they have.
Lots of brands to choose from now, I love trying new ones
Redken’s one with argan oil sounds good to me
I think I might give the 3/ OGX Coconut Milk Shampoo a try.
Best brands at CW are Kristin Ess and Eleven.
