Have you ever loved a beauty brand so much that you wish they just did everything? It would certainly make shopping easier. Finding the right fit is like hitting a gold mine. And when that match has options for your entire routine too, it’s a heavenly discovery.

Those familiar with Aveeno will already know of its stellar skin care lineup. The Daily Moisturising Lotion alone has a 4.3 star rating from over 200 reviews on beautyheaven — that’s impressive!

But did you know there’s also Aveeno hair? Allow us to introduce you…

Oat is the hero ingredient

Just like Aveeno’s skin care range, the shampoo and conditioners utilise the soothing benefits of colloidal oats. Oats are an ingredient known to be great for soothing and hydrating. It also has anti-itch and antioxidant properties. When it comes to our hair, the Aveeno blends have been clinically proven to soothe the scalp too, and we all know a healthy scalp is the foundation for beautiful hair.

Botanical blends for each hair type

The same shampoo and conditioner won’t work for everyone. Not all manes are the same after all. This is why the Aveeno range pairs oat with different botanical blends to suit specific hair needs. The great news? There are six types to choose from, not to mention, they’re all beautifully scented!

The Aveeno hair range is available at Woolworths

Dull hair? Try the Apple Cider Vinegar blend; it’s a clarifying formula that will add shine and enhance hair’s natural beauty.

Lacking volume? The Fresh Greens blend is infused with rosemary, peppermint, and cucumber for extra thickness and body after just 5-10 washes. Think: moisture without heaviness.

Need an everyday hero? The Oat Milk blend will provide balanced moisture on the daily, with an almond milk combination that’ll leave hair lightly nourished and soft.

Find your match from the six types here and look forward to healthy-looking hair from root to tip.

Formula facts

A pH balanced formula is key to keeping skin and scalps happy. It means that the product you’re using is as close to the skin’s own natural pH for as little disturbance to the skin’s barrier as possible. Not only do the Aveeno shampoo and conditioners tick this box, but they’re also formulated without sulphates, dyes and parabens. Win-win!

Did you know Aveeno had haircare? Do the products sound like something you’d like to try?

  1. I tried an oat-based shampoo a long time ago but it did not soothe my scalp which was quite irritated at the time (I can’t remember if it was from Aveeno or not). I would be willing to try a product from this range if reviews are mostly positive.
