It’s not that often that I feel the need to dedicate an entire blog to a single product. Although, it isn’t all that often that I come across a beauty product that makes me want to shout about how great it is from the rooftops. (Don’t worry, I’m safely indoors as I write this. Promise.)
I often get asked by my friends and family about what beauty products I’d recommend to them, and let me tell you, after discovering this new hair holy grail, I almost feel the need to shake people and tell them to hit the shops, stat. They don’t know what they’re missing.
So which amazing product am I on about? It’s Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner and it’s just about changed the way I feel about my dead, lacklustre locks.
After returning back from a super-long stint in London, away from all of my beloved (but bulky) hair products, I was just about ready to chop it all off. Please, hold your gasps ladies.
It wasn’t until I picked up Dove’s new conditioner that I put my thoughts of a much shorter ‘do to bed. I don’t know if it’s because it incorporates a treatment and a conditioner in one, or because it features Dove’s specific brand of super-nourishing oil? But my hair has never felt better. Seriously. Never. I’m talking run-your-fingers-through-your-hair soft, super-shiny and as though my split ends were totally repaired.
So why does this product have the two stripes? Besides looking pretty cool, both the gold and the white stripe serve a very special purpose. The gold stripe contains a blend of natural coconut, almond, and sunflower oils to deeply nourish hair and replenish essential nutrients, and the white stripe conditions hair and seals cuticles to lock in nourishment and smooth frizz.
Like I said, amazing! If my locks could talk they’d tell you the same thing.
