Oh the MTV Awards. Also known as the funniest awards show to come out of Tinsel town.
I must admit, as soon as I learned Rebel Wilson would be the host of the show, I knew it was going to be a serious hoot. The Aussie-born funny gal is a laugh a minute – and reports tell us she definitely didn’t disappoint as the host of this year’s awards.
As usual, the MTV Movie Awards brought about its usual flurry of oddly frocked men and women, with a few more-than memorable hair and make-up looks to boot. But instead of dishing out awards for best and worst dressed, we thought we’d make it interesting by dishing out our very own awards to those who are most deserving…

Best all-rounder: Selena Gomez
The fishtail braid, the smoky eye – the killer frock – oh my! Obviously break-ups are very becoming of Selena Gomez. Justin must be seething.
Miss Congeniality: Emma Watson
Doesn’t Emma just look like she’d be a great friend? I don’t know about you, but I’d love to hang out with her and hear all about what Harry Potter is really like.
Cute and cuddliest: Chloe Grace Moretz
Not a little girl any longer, Chloe shows us her more grown-up side, while still managing to maintain the youthful charm she always had. How does she do it?!
Biggest improvement: Snooki
While we don’t love the look entirely, we must admit that Snooki has come a long, long way. The new mum to little Lorenzo looks demure and dazzling – with a dollop of super-huge hair.
Most interesting ‘do: Bella Thorne
We’re big Bella Thorne-fans around these parts, and it’s not hard to see why. Her strawberry blonde locks, in that sausage pony, are to die for!
Best model pose: Karlie Kloss
Okay, so even though she’s an obvious choice for this gong, Karlie Kloss can definitely work the model pose. We love her make-up look, too.
Fiercely funniest: Rebel Wilson
The hostess with the mostess, funny girl Rebel Wilson worked the fembot angle to a tee in a somewhat revealing but all too hilarious robot get-up.
Biggest overall fail: Ke$ha
Looking a lot like Taylor Momsen in her gothic stage, Ke$ha chose to rock jet black lips and platinum blonde locks with a black hat – and we just can’t figure out why.
Dandiest dude: Will Ferrell
Dressed in a suit printed with American dollar bills all over it, Will Ferrell secured his spot as the coolest funny man in Hollywood. So suave, so sophisticated, Anchorman 2 can’t come soon enough.
The question mark award: Hana Mae Lee
In a very Ke$ha/Gaga move, the Pitch Perfect star chose to walk the red carpet with a giant cigarette butt on her head. Yep, we’re scratching our heads too (mostly because we think there might be ash on there.)
