When it comes to the celebs, we want to know exactly what they smell like (in the least creepy way possible of course). So, we often hunt down clues to find out their fave perfumes (although Jennifer Ansiton’s remains somewhat up in the air).
That’s why when we were watching through Jessica Chastain’s Vogue Beauty Secrets video we were stoked to find out her signature scent (along with a few skin care tips), so the question remains, what is Jessica Chastain’s favourite perfume?
What Perfume does Jessica Chastain use?
Okay, so we may have found her perfume of the moment, but when it comes to getting into character Jessica is a fiend for switching up her signature scents. Actually, in fact, it’s actually deeper than that. “When I’m working on a character, I think about what that character would smell like”, she shared. That’s what leads her to pick that character’s perfume, and she wears it throughout the researching and filming journey to really get her into the world of the character. But for now, the star is set on a classic, ethereal scent…
Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois De Balincourt Eau De Parfum
From $160 at Sephora
This signature scent is earthy, woody and spicy, bringing together a blend of all things whimsical and magical. Named for Marie’s family home (Balincourt), the scent has been created to be reminiscent of the mystical works she took on ‘lover’s lane’. For Jessica, she’s used to changing up her scents regularly, but she admits, she just “can’t quit this perfume”. She even called it “the perfume of the summer”, so it’s time to stock up as the weather heats up!
