There are certain traditions every bride tries to uphold when it comes to her big day. The groom not being allowed to see her the night before, keeping the dress a secret until the big day and even ensuring she checks off a list of must-haves to carry with her on the day.
These items follow a tune that you probably all know; something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. It’s an age-old tradition, but one that definitely still has a place in modern weddings. Find out how you can get involved with this tradition in a fun and inexpensive way…
SOMETHING OLD: A hand-me-down from your mum or grandmother
There are so many ways to incorporate something old and sentimental into your big day. Many brides choose to wear a piece of jewellery worn by their own mothers, or pin a brooch of their grandmother’s to their bouquet in order to carry something sentimental with them. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to go down the beauty route, wearing the same shade of lipstick as your mum did on her big day is a great way to connect with her.
SOMETHING NEW: Scunci Crystal Pins
By the time your wedding is within reach you’ll probably be a little low on finances, so investing in something new and gorgeous may seem like a pipe dream. Instead, why not add a little something to your bridal ‘do (just like Lauren Conrad did here) and pick up some Scunci Crystal Pins. They’re by no means exxy, can slip into any ‘do easily and add just the right amount of glamour to ensure you’re the Princess for the day.
SOMETHING BORROWED: a ‘touch-up’ from your best friend
This part of the tradition is a nice way to connect either with one of your bridesmaids, your close friends or your sisters. Borrowing something from them, be it their favourite lipstick you can carry with you for touch-ups throughout the day (we love Clinique Long Last Lipstick), a solid perfume necklace so you smell gorgeous all day long (we love L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Solid Perfume), or something more personal, like a handkerchief they carried on their own wedding day.
SOMETHING BLUE: the ‘Something Blue’ scent
This is always the trickiest facet of this tradition, with blue items that are big day-worthy not necessarily available in herds. Luckily, I happened to come across a new scent by Oscar De La Renta, called Something Blue. The perfect wedding day scent, Something Blue opens with a burst of mandarin and linden blossom before reaching a romantic heart of lily of the valley and lychee and then settling with notes of bourbon vanilla and white musk. This big day-appropriate fragrance also comes complete with a removable ring engraved with the designer’s signature logo – just make sure it doesn’t rival the other ring you’ll be receiving on the day!

God is Good!
I promised God that I would share my testimony on this website. I had all the signs of STD Virus but I was not too sure as to which one. I did a lot of online research and scared myself straight for a whole week before going to see the nurse. She took one look at my genital part and first said that it could just be the anatomy of my body, then she said it looked like genital warts and that I MAY have herpes. I was devastated. She gave me some medicine for the herpes and some cream for the warts. I was also tested for every single STD including herpes. I went home and cried searching the web for all sorts of cures for herpes and awaiting my results. I saw a post whereby Dr. Kham cured Herpes and other diseases, I copied his contacts out and added him on whats app via +2348159922297. The next day my test result was ready and I confirmed Herpes positive. I told Dr. Kham about my health problems and he assured me of a cure. He prepared his herbal medicine and sent it to me. I took it for 14 days (2 weeks). Before the completion of the 14 days in which I completed the dose, the Blisters and Warts that were on my body were cleared. I went back for a check-up and I was told I’m free from the virus. Dr. Kham cures all types of diseases and viruses with the help of his herbal medicine. You can reach Dr. Kham via his email address on (dr.khamcaregiver@gmail.com) or call him on +2348159922297 and whats app him on the same number, but You can Also Visit his website to know more about him at https://herbal-dr-kham.jimdosite.com/ or visit his Blog at https://drkhamcaregiver.blogspot.com/ for more info.
