What sparked this charitable act, you ask?
Back in 2022, Beysis garnered Oprah Winfrey’s co-sign after the television personality purchased one of the brand’s personalised water bottles.
After Oprah told the world she “loved” it, the Aussie start-up experienced a massive surge in sales, but just three weeks later Beysis co-founder, Ariana Hendry, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
“We were riding the high of the amazing exposure Oprah gave us, when I noticed a persistent lump in my right breast,” says Ariana. “As a fit and healthy 43 year old, cancer was the furthest thing from my mind. I sat paralysed in the chair as my doctor delivered the news.”
The team at Beysis rallied behind Ariana while she underwent treatment; a gruelling regimen of chemotherapy, radiation and multiple surgeries.
Eighteen months on, Beysis is giving back to the charities that are helping achieve a goal of zero deaths from breast cancer in Australia. The National Breast Cancer Foundation is Australia’s largest not-for-profit funder of breast cancer research in Australia. Celebrating it’s 30th year, it has invested $232 million into 642 research projects.
Beysis is collaborating with gorgeous influencer Ashley Schuberg to shine a light on the NBCF’s work this month in their ‘Spray for Pink Giveaway‘.
