We hardly need an excuse to light candles, but there is something about striking a wick in winter that feels more satisfying than any other season.
Even though the flame itself might not provide much toasty warmth, the spicy, woody and delicious aromas that follow after a few minutes burn can feel as comforting as heading back to bed on a crisp, frosty morning.
And whether you’re more partial to a mulled wine mix or pine needle fix, the picture of a wintery paradise is easy to conjure with these cosy candles.

This woody-green candle adds an earthy twist to hand-picked geranium, which will leave your home enveloped in a fresh, rain-soaked scent. Ideal for those who want to bring a sense of the outdoors, indoors. Not to mention the unique air-detoxifying technology sets this wick apart from others.
You say: “This smells just like real geranium that I’ve picked on my daily walk – geranium grows wild where I am and I often like to pick a bit and rub it on my skin – it smells just exactly like this!! Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous Candle
We say: ‘Scuse our French, but this candle is deserving of an in-shop sniff at the very least. The oriental blend of clary sage, lavender, orris root and leather is unlike any other and while it’s smell is often divisive, those that land on the ‘love’ side of the fence, really mean it.

I love turning on my candles during the evening, it creates such a peaceful space
I definitely wouldn't have the Tom Ford candle in my house however nice the fragrance is, really no need for swear words on a candle!
I’d use a black permanent marker – could do the trick! 😉
I can't go past a nice vanilla scent!
Yes that;s why I wouldn;t even consider it either, i find it offensive, and i cringe at Gwynneths one too
Who on earth will spend $155 on the Tom Ford one?
I cant resist a candle, I sware i must spend so much on them….ahh well could be worse
I don't remember seeing any…
To me it is like taking the money and burning it… no thanks.
agree, the name is not necessary.
The price of the Tom Ford one… I could not burn that amount of money.
I could if someone else paid for it! lol
I have a sample of the perfume too. I think it is alright however I like the noir pour femme it's divine and I'm definitely getting it for my birthday.

Glasshouse is one of my favs
That last Tom Ford one 🙂
nothing better in winter than a cosy lie in with candle burning, good book and a glass of wine.

I love a nice candle. I don't have a favourite scent but glass house do have lovely ones
I LOVE Candles – Vanilla or Caramel have to be my favourite scent. I also found a Chai one that smells delicious.
Scented candles always make beautiful homes.
Yes they do. When you walk into a home that has a candle burning it is so nice
My fav is Glasshouse Tahaa 🙂
Palm Beach is definitely one of my candle brand go-tos
I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed Glasshouse candles. They have an amazing range with different types of scents – one for everyone to enjoy!
I've just bought a Sensori+ candle but I won't try it until I've gone through my other candles first.
Just having the Tom Ford candle in the home would say it all. Sensori is lovely.
I love Ecoya and Palm Beach.
The names are funny on some of them.
Circa Home Vanilla Bean & Allspice Classic Candle sounds so good!
Oh, I’ve sniffed the Circa Home and Palm Beach candles and they are delightful, like you’ve been baking all day.
Do like deep lush scents. Something addictive
Love Tom Ford. Would definitely love one of his candles. Glasshouse always have beautiful candles and I have quite a few of them.
Haha would love to try out the FFC.
I’ll try anything if it has sandalwood in it ♥
…or real rose for that matter!
These all look so good. I must admit that I bought a cheap candle from Target and am very disappointed as it hardly smells at all. Wont try that again.
A Tahaa Affair – all day everyday!!
Pink glasshouse one looks like candy
I just love vanilla scented candles but I really want to try a F#@king fabulous candle too
Same here, vanilla is my favourite!
So many of these candles are now on my wishlist.
The Glasshouse Tahaa affair is amazing. The vanilla and allspice one sounds amazing too. I also really liked the breakfast highland candle, sounds so relaxing.
I just bought the new Tahaa – it smells amazing!
I have a nice collection of candles for this winter, but always love more.
The Southern Highlands candle is an odd concept, but it sounds like a nice scent blend.
Please be aware that many of these are toxic, fragrance is one of the most toxic substances you can inhale every day, so bad for your health. Buy wisely. I prefer plain unscented bee’s wax candles.
Breakfast Highlands sounds amazing. If I am not willing to get on a plane. Bring Scotland to me!
What a wonderful Supply of Candles to make your house smell awesome. Thanks BH for the information.
I love to have candles, especially when i have cleaned the house
