Tom Ford
Tom Ford Ombre Leather ($260, davidjones.com.au)
You know how a leather jacket conveys effortless chic regardless of the wearer? This is the cologne equivalent. Layers of leather, spice and moss make for a sensuous scent, with jasmine providing a dash of sweetness. And before you scoff at the price tag, let us be clear: this is a single spritz scent with next-level longevity, so you’ll get more than your money’s worth with cost per wear (especially between two).
Calvin Klein
Calvin Klein CK All ($59, myer.com.au)
Calvin Klein practically coined the term “unisex scent”. Billed as a fragrance free from societal conventions, it’s packed with everything you adored about CK’s original gender neutral drops (we see you, green tea), with the welcome (and warm) additions of amber, vetiver and musk. It’ll develop differently on each of you in the dry down, so don’t stress about smelling like you’re apart of a cologne cult, either.
Penhaligon’s
Penhaligon’s Quercus EDT ($229, myer.com.au)
If you (or your partner) are partial to a perfume with a generous splash of citrus, you need to add this to your unisex arsenal ASAP. It’s not your classic fresh fragrance either; with an zealously zesty combo of lemon, lime, mandarin orange and bergamot, it leans more toward the sour side, with sandalwood slightly steadying the sharpness.
Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani Code Absolu EDP ($175, myer.com.au)
With apple, mandarin and carrot seeds, the top and middle notes of this scent read more like a shopping list than the facets of a fragrance, but the moody suede and tonka bean base steer it clear of smelling like the fruit and veg aisle. With hints of delectable nutmeg and vanilla, it also somehow feels like a hug in fragrance form – it’s musky but not too masculine, so it’s stellar for sharing.
Versace
Versace Eros Flame EDP ($150, davidjones.com.au)
Just like you and your partner, Versace’s fiery fragrance is committed to making contrasts compatible. Unexpected duos reign supreme in this scent: it opens with rosemary and lemon, develops into a rose and pepper mix, and then rounds out with vanilla and patchouli. It’s part sweet, part spicy, and altogether striking.

Have you tried any of these scents? What’s your favourite perfume to share with your partner?
I might be wrong and probably the only one to think this but I think Tom Ford has tonnes of unisex perfumes. I don't remember the name of it but there's another one similar to Ombre Leather yet has a more musky, woody scent to it
HAve ombre leather. Black Orchid too, I think it can be unisex. Lubin Idole also.
