Looking for a new deodorant? Well, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve reviewed the best antiperspirants that promise to neutralise and eliminate bad odours while keeping your skin nourished and clothes clean.
From natural deodorants to clinical strength formulas, here are some of the best deodorants and antiperspirants on the market…
I have had to upgrade my deodorant this month from 'Sport' to 'Clinical' because it has been so humid my armpits have been dripping with sweat. All good now.
I discovered that im sensitive to baking soda in deodorants so that rules out a bunch for me. At the moment im using a Dove stick deodorant with cucumber scent which smells devine.
Would like to give Garnier Mineral Deodorant a try have tried Mitchum it is very good just want something that gets rid of sweat but also doesn't leave white marks. Rexona does have products but I would like to see a deodorant that doesn't leave white marks and keeps you dry all day long.
I always use Mitchum in the summer, I get strong b.o , but I'm trying to use a natural one in the cooler months of the year, unfortunately many just aren't good enough.
I usually stick with Dove but I’ve tried Mitchum and the A’kin one (in a spray). I thought I recalled not liking the smell of the A’kin one but reading my review it seems I did!
I'm using Dove at the moment and it's ok, I've used Mitchum a lot of the years but I always find that every deodorant ive tried makes my white tops a funny colour under the armpits
I have to rotate my deodorants. What works for me in winter doesn’t really work in summer and over time the exact same deodorant I’ve used for awhile doesn’t quite cut it anymore. I like Mitchum and Rexona Clinical Protection, but Estée Lauder Youth Dew is my favourite.
I’ve tried the A’kin one and I really did not like it. I used it as the toilet freshener. I’ve tried the dove go fresh but the best is the Mitchum and Rexona clinical protection ranges.
Thanks to a tip that I got from watching YouTube, I wash my pits with acne wash which helps control the odour producing bacteria, and now my crystal deodorant stick actually works.
I have to have an antiperspirant, deodorant on its own just doesn't cut it for me. Tom's of Maine is the only eco friendly anti perspirant I've found, with recycled aluminum. I'd be open to other suggestion though if anyone has any.
After a year or so of using the A'kin one, I found it didn't give me a reaction and smelt great but also didn't really help with sweat half of the time. I found the spray to be more effective but still not strong enough.
Thought I'd go with Mitchum as I saw it in the supermarket but nope got an allergic reaction within a day or two of using it 🙁
My mum didn't pass on her lack of sweat genes on to me either. She does not sweat and she is practically hairless when it comes to her legs, arms and doesn't have any stray hairs (no intervention in that department to make her hairless either), I feel like a blonde furry monkey next to her.
I have just started using the Sukin deodorant. Considering that it is a natural product I am a bit scared about its effectiveness but I will find out soon.
I loved using the Clarins Eau Dynamisante deodorant spray for many years. Before that, Guerlain Mitsouko (No longer available). I was NOT a fan of stick deodorants. Had some serious (allergic, respiratory) reactions to zinc salts deodorant, not even on myself, but sprayed nearby! Long ago now, but I stayed away from those. Now Ive found this gorgeous stick deodorant by Corpus. It comes in several different scents. All fragrances of natural origin. I bought online, taking a punt on the Santalum version. Now, Im very sensitive to fragrances. There are FAR more that I can't tolerate, than the few I enjoy. I LOVE this natural scent! AND it does the job without triclosan, let alone any of the real nasties. Not sticky or tacky! Goes on very smoothly, with a light fragrance which soon dissipates, but makes it a joy to apply. Will definitely purchase again. (Mecca Cosmetica)
Ooh, great timing on this article. I've been looking into a new antiperspirant to try. I've been using the Dove one for years. Last year I started using a natural deodorant since I'm not going out much and great for days you don't sweat as much. Also had a sample of the A'kin one but didn't like the scent.

I've always wanted to try the Mitchum one
I still use a clinical antiperspirant in summer, but I switch to a natural one in winter.

I'm using Dove at the moment and it does keep me fresh and dry.

The Akin deodorant is actually really good! I've purchased it several times already
I love dove products and the dove roll on with pears looks good.
I'm stalking Kats Colourings blog posts…she has comprehensive testing on quite a few Al free deos. So I just pick which ever she reckons worked best!
I always use Mitchum in the summer, I get strong b.o , but I'm trying to use a natural one in the cooler months of the year, unfortunately many just aren't good enough.
I really like the sound of the Akin deodorant. I prefer a roll on rather than a spray deodorant.
My daughter likes the Akin one. I use aluminium free and natural ingredient ones. No pong is great!!
This is helpful for our hotter days, thank you.
I'm a fan of non-aluminium ones too. I feel safer for my health when I use one of those.
The Weleda one looks interesting!!
I do love Dove products.
I usually stick with Dove but I’ve tried Mitchum and the A’kin one (in a spray). I thought I recalled not liking the smell of the A’kin one but reading my review it seems I did!
I like the Rexona clinical protection roll-on, it helps with sweat & doesn't irritate my underarms at all.
Much needed for summer
The Akin one smells amazing and it works.
I'm using Dove at the moment and it's ok, I've used Mitchum a lot of the years but I always find that every deodorant ive tried makes my white tops a funny colour under the armpits

I dont use very often. If very hot I use Moogoo.
Mitchum unscented roll on for women is one of my favourites.
Kats' blog came to mind as soon as I saw the title of this article.
I am currently loving Dove Clinical Protection. I have previous purchased Mitchum too. Also a great product.
The gv one looks good without any aluminium, might have to make the change…
I’ve tried the A’kin one and I really did not like it. I used it as the toilet freshener. I’ve tried the dove go fresh but the best is the Mitchum and Rexona clinical protection ranges.
Estée Lauder makes a deodorant. This I have to Google. While I still can.
2 minutes later… and so they do! At $32 Woah! So does Clarins and Elizabeth Arden and Oscar de La Renta and Clinique and Lancôme

The Mitchum one is my go to. I've been meaning to try some natural ones but I'm not convinced they will work for me.
I tried the Dove roll on and it works.

haha at least it wasn't wasted. Good idea.
Great tip. Thanks
That's terrible. Hope you find a suitable product soon.
Thanks for the info on these deodorants
Nice selection to choose from
I’m using Dove at the moment ant it’s working well for me.

Oh no.
I usually go for the stick or roll on deodorants so if they don't work they don't have a second purpose.
That is an interesting suggestion which I have not heard before, my sister has an odour issue so I will tell her to check it out.
I have just started using the Sukin deodorant. Considering that it is a natural product I am a bit scared about its effectiveness but I will find out soon.
I use Dove and it works for me.
I use Rexona sexy bouquet. It keeps me dry most of the day
Never tried any of these. Prefer the brand ‘no pong’

I prefer to use natural deodorant. I have tried mitchum but I don't love it. I'm currently using modern hippy but next I'll purchase brutal truth
