Aldi invented the dupe. From breakfast cereals to massage guns to a $9 skin tint that will have you convinced you’re using the Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint ($84, MECCA); there is no question that this supermarket retailer created the concept of a like-for-like product at a more affordable price. God’s work.
And after securing a cult following who camp outside the store (no, seriously) when the La Prairie dupe hits the shelves, Aldi has released a fragrance range inspired by the iconic Acqua Di Parma scents.
Without even smelling the fresh, fruity and Italian coast-inspired notes that Acqua Di Parma is so famous for, the Lacura dupe bottle was kind of a dead giveaway.
What do we know about Aldi’s Acqua Di Parma fragrance dupe?
Well, we know that there’s not only one but three different scents. And since being released in the UK, we know that they’re unsurprisingly selling out fast.
As for the price, we have it on good authority that when they do they’ll be available for around $10 a bottle. That’s roughly $190 less than the original. Not bad, right?
Not bad…
When will the Lacura fragrances be available in Australia?
A date has yet to be officially announced however, with the success of the launch in the United Kingdom and all three fragrances being heavily summer-inspired, we’re hoping for an Aussie release in the coming months. Stay tuned!
What’s your favourite past Aldi beauty dupe?
I hope they have test bottles so we can give them a try.
I was just about say they should have testers!
It’s only $10.
Oo can’t wait.
Sounds amazing and the price !!
I bet they don’t, Aldi never has testers of anything
But at $10 not a big risk.
Very good point!
Oh that would be awesome!
Definitely need testers I hope.
It’s only $10. I don’t think they will have testers there.
Not a perfume person. Will be interesting to read the feedback.
I’m very intrigued!
Me too
I would love to see some feedback.
An Aldi will open in my town in few months time, I can’t wait.
Ooh I have not smelt the real one lol
Same here
Never buying this.
As I am a Kiwi I very rarely get to shop at Aldi so don’t have a favourite dupe.
I’ve used a few skincare products from Aldi, a Perfume is something new for them though.
How are the skincare products from Aldi?
WAnt to test them for sure, love perfumes
I would definitely try them. I used to love Aldi’s hairspray which was fantastic and a quarter of the price of my usual brand. Then they changed the formulation and it smelled so bad, and got up my nose so much, that I had to stop using it.
Fragrance is so important. I have given my mum so many shampoos and conditioners because the scent was too overpowering.
Fragrance is one thing where I don’t buy dupes, because so often the quality just isn’t there.
I agree Dance but at the price you can afford to apply a little more often if it doesn’t last .
I can’t wait to try these. I hope they supplier a Tester.
I like their LACURA Naturals Anti-Aging Serums. I use the lighter version on my face and the heavier version on my neck & décolletage.
I have successfully used their masks as well.
Does Aldi normally provide a tester for their makeup or skincare products?
This perfume is only $10 so unlikely that they will.
Worth a try really I guess.
Oh man! I wish we had aldi in NZ
A logical new beauty product for their range
There would be no harm in trying these perfumes when they come to Australia. I for one would be interested in the fragrance, especially for the price.
Ohhh I would definitely try these, when they get to us here. Aldi does some great dupe products, beauty and otherwise.
I’m curious. I’m undecided about whether to try these. It will depend on where they’re made.
I would love to try this.
My teen daughter loves dupes so might get this as a stocking filler for Christmas
When are these going to be in store?
I don’t think this is for me, even though I adore ALDI products. I like have a ‘label’ on my bathroom counter.
Would love to try these
me too
sounds lovely
I’ll give them a go at that price.
Oh wow, this is amazing
Seems like pretty good value, not crazy about the containers, just very plain.
