vitamins and calcium

I have osteoporosis and have been told that I should take a vitamin D and make sure that I eat plenty of food that has calcium. I just cannot seem to get enough by drinking milk and eating cheese and lots of green veg. Any suggestions Beauties?

I’ve been exploring online casinos that cater to Australian players and came across El Royale Casino . The first thing that struck me was the captivating 1920s theme, which sets a unique and enjoyable atmosphere. The game selection is vast and varied, catering to all kinds of players. I particularly enjoy the slots that offer a mix of classic and modern gameplay. It’s a great site for those who want a taste of nostalgia mixed with contemporary gaming.

AS, really interesting, I wish you could post more I’m sure many of us would be interested in hearing about vitamin and homeopathy use.

Speaking as a homeopath (in Melbourne, there’s the clue) who is also trained in a specific nutrition program, there are a lot of misconceptions around calcium, vitamin D etc. Difficult to say much here without being bumped as spam, self promotion etc, plus the obvious thing of not “prescribing” to strangers online. We have new science nowadays which surpasses a lot of old ideas like calcium supplementation. Vitamin D can also cause problems if not taken together with K2. Bone cells – osteoclasts can be activated by sulforaphane (which the body makes for itself when given the correct materials, must contain the necessary factors to convert). We have success through this with osteoporosis. I am using this program for most people with many different conditions. And then I am using homeopathy, the two therapies complement each other. I can point to medical references regarding sulforaphane, but I think not in here. The researcher and authority on the subject of sulforaphane is (one of my mentors) Dr Christine Houghton, in Australia.

Mine is a bit low which was in my blood result and Dr recommended Ostelin as well. However he shouldve taken a blood test to see the results then he will recommend dose. I would not take it on my own without the Drs advice.

I have osteoporosis and take Caltrate Bone & Muscle 50+ daily.

My Dad takes a type of Ostelin to help with his bones as he has secondary bone cancer. Mum had started to take Ostelin as well but had to stop as it didn’t agree with her, think she had stomach issues with it or some type of side effect.

So sorry to hear. It concerns me when old school medicine is so far from doing better than this. Have to be very careful though, to not increase risk with anything taken.

I’m sure the pharmacist would willingly give advice, but I think Ostelin is good as misfortune advised.

Small doses of sunshine also help with vitamin D.

@Normap: my doc put me on Ostelin. Regular blood tests show that my Vitamin D levels are now within the healthy range.
