This website is so clunky

Why is this website so clunky? When trying to submit reviews the page reloads. It is very frustrating. I think it is the advertising? Grrr

    I couldn’t find an appropriate topic to put this under and didn’t want to start a new topic. When did the Body Shop disappear from BH? I was all ready to write a few reviews!

    Agreed! And everytime I add a comment to any posts it gives me a warning saying “duplicate comment detected- you’ve already posted this comment!” Without fail, Every single time. It’s more than an email with screenshots can fix, it’s just… well… clunky.

      My laptop has a print screen (screen shot) key – I hold down the Function key and press F11.

      If you don’t have a Print Screen key, you could try pressing the Function key + Windows logo key + Space Bar at the same time to take a screenshot.

      You can also download a snipping tool, which is my preferred method, which allows you to take a copy of a particular section of the screen instead of the whole screen.

        The function key is the one labelled “fn” on most keyboard variations.

        Most Windows versions should already have the Snipping Tool installed. Press Windows logo key + Shift + S and it should open it up. Then to take a screenshot press “New” and make a square around what you are trying to screenshot.

        There are also various extensions in Chrome browser for taking screenshots of webpages.

        If on mobile, most phones allow you to take screenshots if you press the power and volume buttons at the same time.

      @Team BH I have no idea how you even do a screenshot – I am not up with a lot of this technology. Am old school 🙂 I just find sometimes I make a comment and off it goes to cyberland never to be seen again. Sometimes I can’t comment on say like the birthday thread and yet sometimes I can.

      Or I could comment to someone and hit send and it never shows. Everything changed when they changed to this new format. You can also easily miss a conversation and have no idea how to find it.

    When I leave a review using my phone it reloads and I lose everything. I’ve had to go back to using the PC. It’s much better on that but still clunky

    The new site is just awful. I don’t like to use the word hate but that’s how I feel. I’m also totally fed up with copping all the your comment is under review. I do not say anything rude or disrespectful on the site. Sometimes I feel like I may as well not bother. Sorry for the rant but this site has gone to the dogs.

    I actually don’t have any issues. I seem to be able to navigate around the site quite well for what I am looking for. I am sure it would be frustrating if the pages keep reloading.

    This is why I rarely post here anymore.
    Every so often I’ll stop by and check out what’s going on, but that’s about it. There is no point commenting on anything as it just gets lost in the ether!
    The advertising is out of control… and I’m sick of seeing “Do vaginas need to breathe?” on every article that I click!

    Bring back the old BH!!!
