I tend to lean towards neutrals in both make up and fashion for everyday, however I love to lean into themes when getting glammed up. I would generally choose my outfit first then do my makeup to compliment what Im wearing. Eg I might wear all black and lean into old school glam or something a little more boho and curl my hair and have more natural makeup.

I do have to say, I never experiment with bright colours really other than red lipstick. I have really small features and I find they overpower me and I end up looking a little bit clown like!!

Hi Pollylou, gosh my way of makeup and fashion is very similar to you. i am very practical and I do not experiment with many bright colours in my older age of 57. However, when i was younger i did, however in my 50’s I am more of old school especially with my make up. I am a shorty so with clothes i try to keep practical and comfortable. My hair i like straightened in my bob style, its easier and juggling two teenagers easier to do.
