RIP TO ANOTHER CELEBRITY

Wow just heard that Jonathan Coleman has died from Prostate Cancer.

I remember seeing him on Studio 10 talking to Sarah Harris that he was having chemo and how she was nearly in tears when he was talking about it all.

I only just saw him on the show the other week and I thought he was doing alright but sadly no. Such sad news to hear as he was an icon.

RIP Jonathan.

    Yes, I remember Maggie Tabberer, too. In the ’80s she designed the uniforms at my workplace: blazer, waistcoat, print skirt, plain skirt, matching tops & a scarf. I remember a friend once asking me to borrow the outfit & I had to point out the corporate logo on the blazer buttons & within the print on the scarf & skirt.

    Just reading that Maggie Tabberer has died aged 87. Gee I remember my mum talking about her and then as I got older, seeing her as the editor of Women’s Weekly and then on those Morning shows. She was always so beautiful and what you saw is what you got.

      @ Jatz I love Maggie as well, my mum and I always chatted about how timeless her beauty was, her children and how sadly she was never lucky in love.

        @LadyLola – I remember she was with Richard Zarachi or something like that. My memory even escapes me now on who he was. Yes a shame she never found her true love. She had a wicked sense of humour too.

    It’s only breaking news now but Johnny Ruffo has lost his battle with his cancer. He has just died aged 35. I remember reading that he was hoping that he would survive past Christmas as his brother was coming from overseas to see him. Just so sad to hear this news just then.

    RIP Johnny Ruffo – sympathies to his girlfried that has stood by him all this time and to his family.

    I just heard that Matthew Perry, from Friends, has died. Early reports say he drowned in a hot tub, but the judgement was deferred pending a toxicology report. Wow!

      @Misfortune yes very sad news to hear of his passing. It is getting to the stage of so many passing lately. Some actor died today also but I don’t know him, from one of those American dramas.

      @Misfortune8 I am still trying to fathom that she has gone. I have been watching so many you tube videos of her and she was brillant in every one. It just hits home when you have grown up with all these celebrities. I am still getting over Olivia passing. It’s got to the stage, I haven’t watched any news lately as I don’t want to hear any more celebrities going.

        I made this comment over 2 weeks ago, in the early hours of the day she died. I don’t know why it’s taken so long to get published. For the last few weeks, EVERY SINGLE forum & article comment goes into m-o-d-e-r-a-t-i-o-n.

    Tina was so amazing and talented. She had such a hard life. I am so glad she ended up with such an amazing man in the end.What a loss to the world.

    I hadn’t watched any news yesterday as busy but I see Rolf Harris died also. I have no words for him. I know we used to watch him years ago when I was little and loved his shows but knowing what he did now, just makes my skin crawl.

    I just find it hard to believe that all these other celebrities that I have grown up with are passing. I am still getting over losing Olivia and Judith Durham.

      @Hayley644 – that was such sad news to hear today. What a beautiful, amazing person she was. She loved Australia and we have lost another legend of a singer. They have been playing her songs on the radio here all day and there is not one song that you go, that’s horrible.

    Not being disrespectful but I don’t watch Masterchef and have no idea who this person was. I feel sorry for his family with his sudden passing to have the news all over the media must make a difficult time for them even harder.
