Question about Solfine Technic Reverse Crema Colour

Hi, all 🙂

I have naturally light ‘mousey’ brown hair and have been dying my hair a (permanent) dark brown/black for about three years now. I’m getting quite tired of it and would prefer to go lighter. I have quite long hair so I don’t have the patience to wait for the colour to grow out, and I really do not want to resort to bleaching: I had this done when I went red January last year, and it absolutely destroyed my hair. I ended up re-dying my hair back to black in order to gain some health back into it.

I’m quite interested in this Solfine Technic Reverse Crema Colour, and I’m just wondering whether anyone knows it will remove old black hair dye (which has been re-dyed over about 4 times since going back to black [from Red])?

Thankyou! 🙂

I used this product today to remove mahogany red from my previously blonde hair. I hated the red and wanted my blonde har back. I thought that this was going to be a disaster and that my only options would be to (a) cover the red with a chocolate brown (b) bleach the red out and completely destroy my hair. I chose the reverse cremacolor because it contained coconut oil. I was scared to start as I had no idea what to expect so I studied the instructions and followed them exactly.
Within minutes I could see the colour changing back to my blonde hair. The instructions suggest trying a second application to get more of the colour out, however, I feel that I got excellent results from the one application. While there are still some hints of red(strawberry blonde) I am confident that when I use my usual blonde colour in about 1 weeks time everything will be back to normal. My hair is shiny and soft (I have very fine hair) and this product is amazing.

    Hey There,

I’ve used it before and it took my black hair down to a reddy brown. I then used a second packet a week later and it made my reddy brown hair a lighter orangy kind of brown. It dried my hair out pretty bad. It contains hydrogen peroxide which bleaches it.I probably wouldn’t use it again in future, I’d just bleach it back instead as the solfine colour remover contains bleach anyway and dries it just as much. I’d say a solfine treatment would take it back 2 shades at a time but it turns reddish if you know what I mean.

Ohh, okay. I’ve read other people saying it didn’t dry their hair out at all. Hm, I guess it just may differ. If I do use it, I will be sure to get a deep-conditioning treatment for usage afterwards 🙂

Hi I got married 2yrs ago one month before i got married i had my hair died and it was nearly black i went to so many people asking them what to do i got head and shoulders and washed my hair with it about 6 times you leave the shampoo in there for half an hour and when u wash it out u can see the colour coming out, then you put the softline in to get the rest out it is fantastic ive told so many about this product it does no dammage at all to yr hair , ive used it probably 6 times since as the colour boxes never come out as they say they do they are always too dark. Its never damaged my hair i love the product put my daughter onto it as well as she was doing her hair black for so long it actually made her hair quiet shinny.
