oil diffusers
Hi beauties,
I want to get one of those electric diffusers that you can leave on all night , does anyone have any recommendations? I thought if I use lavender oil in it I might sleep better!

I’ve got a Scentsy one. It is great. I use it all night when one of my children has a cold. I use it myself for relaxation.

Yesterday I googled for the best difusser. I read the whole thread (thank you for all the recommendations) and decided to purchase the In Essence ultrasonic vapouriser.
Today in David Jones (Pitt Street) to my surprise I found an In Essence pack containing a USB-powered vapouriser (about one thrid smaller than the $79.95 one as the maximum amount of time can be set is 2 hours), together with a bonus orange essential oil and lemongrass essential oil, all for $39.95!! I am so happy. I was in David Jones only last week and did not see this pack. I am already using the vaporiser and it is fantastic – it is very quiet and automatically switched off when water level was low. It even comes with a one-year warrant. The pack is such a bargain! I had to sign up and share this news!

I purchased the Gurin Spa Vapor Advanced Wellness Instant Healthful Mist Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser as a christmas gift for my sister. She is very happy with it and how it works. I like that it has a safety feature that turns it off when the water level goes too low. This is super important when you have a teenager who forgets to turn things off. It has three different colors- red, blue, and green- that have high and low settings. It has a timer so that she can set the machine to work as long as she wants. This is a great way to start using essential oils to enhance your life.

The Candle Company make the best diffusers ever! They smell delicious and always make me sleep better. They are not electric but I find the smell stays around longer than the electric ones. My favourite are White Jasmine and Ginger Lily. I buy them from here:

Aromatic Beauties, just received a newsletter from “Essence of Wellbeing” they are doing extra discounts on Aromatherapy Kits & Gift Packs.
Looks like hubby will be getting a few hints re the Professional Kit, was looking to upgrade to a larger essential oil box anyway as I have far to many essential oil bottles all over the place – now have a excuse to expand the oil collection as well !!
Thanks for the post Jane P – picked up a small kit fits the bill for a hard to buy for relative (hopefully!)

Question for anyone that has the In Essence electric burner:
I find that mine doesn’t really heat up and as a result, it isn’t throwing a strong scent. Is mine defective or are the electric burners usually more subtle?
I was using a normal burner with a tea light candle before this.
I agree with Nature_Girl, Fatima – mine isn’t In Essence either but there is a definite throw from mine. I don’t use water either. It doesn’t become hot but definitely warm to touch. In Essence appear to be good with customer service so an email would bring an answer to your concerns, I’m sure.
