New Body Moisturiser Before & After Photo Review Opportunity

Hi beauties,

Happy New Year! We all hope you had a wonderful break and are excited for 2024.

We have an exciting trial opportunity running on beautyheaven to join a before and after photo challenge!

The product for this trial is a body moisturiser and is new to market launching into Chemist Warehouse in February. We’d love to give some of our members the opportunity to trial and review before it officially launches!

For this trial we are looking for members to have their images professionally shot in-studio at our Sydney HQ office at Park Street, Sydney CBD, before and after trialling the Body Moisturiser for 4 weeks, as well as leave a written review.

We are looking for members between the ages 25 – 45 who have dry skin or uneven tone on areas like knees, heels and elbows. We are looking for members of colour with different body types.

The before & after photos will focus on your specific areas of concern.

You will be incentivised for your efforts of coming into the office if you’re selected to take part.

If this sounds like something of interest we will be organising for the before photos to take place w/c 15th January and the after photos for w/c 12th February. Please reply to info@beautyheaven.com.au with your beautyheaven username and your availabilities for both w/c 15th January and w/c 12th February.

The photos will take no longer than 15 minutes.

You will recieve a response back if you’re successful for this trial.

    Congrats to those who are chosen, I love seeing the before and after shots. I’ve bought so many products based on the reviews from this type of trial.

    Hi @AS and @RalucaP, thank you for sharing your thoughts and feedback! These are all completely valid points.
    We just want to gently remind everyone that this Trial Team (along with all of our Trial Teams) is recruited based on the brand’s primary demographic. This is the specific demographic the brand requested for this Trial Team, and so this is what we share with our lovely members, who all vary across different demographics, including age groups 😊
    Of course, if you think this body moisturiser is suitable for yourself, we encourage you to look into the product once it launches into Chemist Warehouse next month to help you decide whether or not it would be the right fit for purchasing. In the meantime, we are very excited for the members taking part in this Trial Team and we look forward to reading their reviews and seeing their results from the before & after photos!

      I do appreciate where beauty heaven are coming from here, they are essentially just doing what the client brand is asking them to do. If the brand wants this criteria met, beautyheaven are just trying to recruit people the brand wants. Maybe the brand thinks the product will work better on particular skins, especially in the photos, the results may be more visible

    Selection criteria for this trial is a bit of a joke. I think people are more likely to get dry skin after 45 yo (especially women due to hormones change) regardless the colour. Sorry BH , I think it’s bit discriminatory.

    Ok. People of all ages vary in body types and condition. Notice the request for “members of colour”. NB no pasty white people. BH, it’s blatant unfair discrimination here. Discrimination isnt unfair when you’re marketing to a certain demographic, but seriously? A body moisturiser which is only for “coloured” people of a certain age?? (I am 61)

    good luck to those that apply….. not sure why the age bracket …. a moisturiser should work irrespective of age…. its the skin type its testing

      I agree! I understand BH are recruiting people who fulfil the brands marketing criteria, however find it disappointing in 2024 ageism is still rife.
