Beware of Latest Priceline Scam!

I received an email, purportedly from Priceline Pharmacy, which somehow didn’t look legit. I wish I could still post images in an opening post.

I opened the email but did not click on any links.

Here’s the body of the text:

Congratulations!
You can win an exclusive prize
La Vie Est Belle Eau De Parfum
We Value Your Feedback!
You have been selected as one of the lucky
few for a unique opportunity to receive a brand new
La Vie Est Belle Eau De Parfum!

To claim, Simply answer a few quick questions
regarding you [sic] experience with Priceline
Pharmacy.

Followed by a yellow “Get it Now” banner to click. – DON’T CLICK IT!

If you scroll to the bottom, there’s an American mailing address!

This email was a scam! I forwarded a screenshot to Priceline using their website’s “Contact Us” details, who then forwarded it to their legal & securities department. I also reported this to the Australian ScamWatch website.

IF IN DOUBT, DON’T CLICK ANY LINKS! Open a new search page & find the legitimate contact details for whichever business & ask them for clarification if you’re unsure. Even if you didn’t lose anything, report scams to the relevant authorities because many people DO fall for these.

Keep safe! ♥

Thank you. I have two email addresses because of this. If a “you’re a Winner” email lands in my main email account I report it as SPAM or Fishing to my provider.

Thanks for the warning @Misfortune8, as I own and love that perfume and would probably have clicked the link had I seen it.

They just keep coming. It’s especially hard to resist when you’ve only just shopped on their website, so think it’s a direct result of that interaction.

Wow, thank you so much for the heads up. The email screenshot posted actually looks like they went to a decent amount of effort to make it look legit. I hope no one falls victim to this scam.
