Australis Cosmetics – in particular “Ready Set Go Finishing Powder”

What does everyone think of Australis products? Just watched a video of a girl doing her make up and I noticed she used the Finishing powder after doing her foundation. I have never tried a translucent powder and just wanted to know what everyone’s opinions of them are?

Thank you beauty and Alice! I am definitely gonna try the powder and polishes then 🙂 Alice I am actually generally picky about eyeliner, I rarely like any of them haha! There’s nothing worse than an eyeliner with a defect because eyeliners are supposed to be precise and easy to control 🙂

I think Australis is quite good quality for the price! Though I have a few gripes over their pencil eyeliner (it’s CRAP), the finishing powder, nail polishes and mascaras are great. I have the TLC mascara and I love it.

I think both Australis and Face of Australia makeup is really worth the money.

This was all very useful to read, thanks all!

I actually had an additional question, hopefully someone can help me – I’d never even heard of Australis before I moved to Australia a little over a month ago, and I have no idea what to “compare” it to quality-wise. Is it like, say, Maybelline and L’Oreal, or closer to the more professional brands? Are their eyeshadows well pigmented, in your opinion what is their “specialty” (face/eyes/lips)?

What would you most recommend I try? I am on a budget until I find work so I’m limited in what I can “try for myself”.

    Thanks so much!

    Hey Nelleke! (:
I haven’t used that many of their products, but I’d say they’re quite similar to Maybelline/Revlon/Rimmel etc. I have the Ready Set Go Finishing Powder and LOVE it. I use is every day to help keep away shine. It’s especially good for summer, when you get those hot, humid days. (: Sorry, I don’t have any of their eyeshadows.. but here is a link to some of the reviews on here –

    Hope this helps!! xx

I agree, it really gives you that airbrushed look if you dust some over your foundation.

Ready Set Go Finishing Powder is a MUST-HAVE!! I’ve been using this for a long time now and I really love how it sets my makeup. The powder is incredibly fine and it doesn’t leave any white patches. It’s affordable and so worth it!

bought this yesterday, SOOO amazing. all australis powders, eyeshadows and something else(lool, cant remember) are $10 at priceline, so i got it $2 off 🙂 i really love how fine it is, it goes a long way and is just fun to apply.. sounds wierd, but it is! hahaha
