As if I’m not already obsessed enough by the Kardashians (I watched a six-hour ‘Keeping Up’ marathon over the Xmas break and suddenly everyone in my neighbourhood became a Kardashian lookalike), they had to go and release Kardashian Kolor – an uber-cute line of nail polishes. Oh sorry, I mean ‘uber-kute’ line of nail polishes.
The nail polish collection is a collaboration – oops my bad, let me start over…The kollection is a kollaboration between Nicole by OPI and reality TV superstars, the Kardashians, and komprises 14 kolours inspired by the ladies of the Kardashian krew– Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie (sorry Bruce and Rob, no nail polish for you!).
The shade range includes everything from your traditional reds, pinks, and glitter finishes, to your more fashion-forward green, gold, grey and blue hues, making them perfect for any okkasion (ok, ok, I’ll give up on the word play now I promise!). And of course, in true OPI fashion, the nail polishes also come with equally as fabulous names. A few we love are:
Listen To Your Momager (a deep blue with a name no doubt thought up by Kris Kardashian).
Kim-Pletely In Love (clearly not the case now, but a pretty pastel pink inspired by Kim, the hopeless romantic in the family).
Khloé Had A Little Lam-Lam (a rich green named especially for Khloé and her hubby, Lamar).
Hard-Kourt Fashionista (yep, you guessed it – inspired by fashion savvy Kourtney).
So whether you want to keep up with the Kardashians or simply keep up with the latest beauty trends, you’d best get your hands on a bottle (or three) of Kardashian Kolor, because my guess is that the limited edition polishes won’t be around for long!
