Vending machines are usually synonymous with chocolate bars and soft drinks, but now beauty brand ulta3 has given the classic snack food dispenser a glamorous makeover by filling one up with make-up products.
Launching an Australian-first retail service at Southern Cross Station in Melbourne, the state-of-the-art machine houses lipsticks, nail polishes (including their award-winning Nail Polish), eyeliners, mascara, bronzer and powders, all priced between $2 and $10.
Situated on platform 9/10, the vibrantly coloured machine also includes PayPass functionality, as well as the option of traditional credit card, coin and note payments.
Set to roll out across the country in places like universities and shopping destinations in the coming months, the machine brings new meaning to ‘beauty on the go’!
Would you buy beauty products from a vending machine? What other beauty innovations do you wish existed?
