This is without a doubt the best moisturiser I have ever used for my skin. I usually have much trouble with moisturisers, until finally last month I found Palmer’s Cocoa Butter, but this [Venustus Jet-Set] is miles better.

At first I was disappointed, thinking how could this be so expensive? It was sooo thin, and went on almost like water, but then I remembered it was body “milk” – and it is indeed like milk. Then I realised my arms were the SOFTEST they’ve ever been. My skin type is normal to oily, and fair – it isn’t super soft (someone once described it as more “velvety” than soft and silky, like peach fuzz maybe!?).

Anyway, my arms literally feel SOOO supple now, like they’ve never been. And, perhaps it is the aromatherapy, but my arms are tingling. I shall have to try this again to make sure I’m not experiencing such grand sensations purely because I am concentrating on trying to write this review! My boyfriend said it smelled very earthy from the bottle – I thought it was indescribably addictive, like Lush’s Flying Fox shower gel. But more fine. My boyfriend could smell it on my skin from a metre away and said it reminded him of my “Gorgeous” face moisturiser from Lush – it must be the neroli.

The Jet-Set Body Serum was nice in a bath, but didn’t do much for my skin. I tried it on my boyfriend’s calf muscles as he has restless leg syndrome and it soothed that, so I imagine it would soothe aching muscles like it claims (I can’t attest to this since my muscles never ache, haha).

I am extremely satisfied with this body milk. My hands, for example, are perfectly soft, and yet DRY – not a trace of grease or oil. I’ve never experienced this! In the end, I didn’t really get into the whole “jet-lagged” tired muscles thing, because, frankly, I’m not a jet-setter! I’m a homebody! But I will say that I am definitely going to take a chance on other Venustus products, ones more suited to my lifestyle. These are definitely quality products, with scents that seem divine.
