, Remington i-LIGHT® Smooth Sense is an IPL device with a ProPulse selective wavelength that deeply penetrates skin to reach the hair follicle root for permanent hair removal. It treats skin tones from one to five and is designed with an integrated skin tone sensor that reads the colour of the skin 100 times per second. As users move the device around, it adjusts the power as needed, reading skin tone and tailoring each flash for efficacy and safety. It features an express mode for treating legs, bikini line and underarms in 15 minutes, and a sensitive mode for a less intense treatment in gentle areas. It also has a wider treatment window with built in UV protection filters to protect the skin. The skin contact sensor will only flash if held against the skin. All triallers found Remington i-LIGHT® Smooth Sense was effective in removing hair, many seeing results after one use. For those who didn’t see results that quickly, they still saw a significant reduction in hair in about 6-8 weeks while using regularly. Majority of triallers found the device painful, but none found it unbearable and most thought it was worth it for the reduction of hair. s equal parts tentative and excited to try this one out, I was excited to see the results but scared of the pain. I guess everyone will feel different levels of pain but mine wasn’t bad at all, kind of like a less painful version of slapping an elastic band against your skin. At first I found the device a little bit tricky to use but once I got the hang of it it was a breeze! I started to see results quite early on, which was impressive. considering how expensive laser is when you do it at a salon, this thing pretty much pays for itself within a few uses.”…read more reviews here

have done laser at the salon for my underarm but unfortunately could never afford to do all the sessions for my other larger body parts. Therefore I know what to expect in terms of results and how to use the device. The device is very easy to use and the package also included clear instructions on how to use it. It is not a complicated device as it only have one power cord and the IPL device with two head sizes. I’ve always used the bigger head size on the IPL because I wanted to reduce hair on my legs and arms. So I have the recommended skin tone (fair yellow) and hair color (dark) which is why it was easy for me to see results after one use. I have been using the device every 3-4 weeks. I have taken one star off due to the price because as a young adult, I don’t think I can afford $900 upfront for this. Furthermore it takes me 40-60 minutes to do my full arms and legs. Just sitting through the whole session and doing it by yourself can be very distressing for people who don’t have IPL laser experience. On my second session, I could see there was a dramatic reduction of hair! So I have been using it for several months and I have been extremely satisfied with the results. neral I liked the device and found it easy to use

und the device very easy to use and the handle was…comfortable to hold while using. The system was very straightforward to use, although I did find the instructions difficult to read as the print was very small. The key feature page was very messy and I felt the post treatment should have been earlier in the instructions, for use as they were quite significant. In using the device it was difficult to gain good skin contact in areas such as over the shin bone and around the ankle because of this, the device safety feature would not let it fire therefore it was hard to treat these areas. My hair growth has significantly reduced using the device but has required more than the suggested treatments. I think that this is to my changing hair colour as I am getting more grey hair growth that the device doesn’t treat.”…read more reviews here

ess hairy girl!

, I just wanted to start off by saying I could not contain my excitement to trial the Remington i-light smooth sense – and you’ll be glad to hear that the excitement and love for this product only grew. I will say that it does hurt slightly when using it however no pain, no gain, and for the results I have seen I will gladly go through it all (probably being dramatic it’s not even that painful and it has a gentle range, I’ll put my big girl pants on and suck it up) but saying all this I have honestly tried every single laser treatment to achieve smooth and hair free skin and nothing has worked for me more than the Remington I-light, if I knew the results were this good I would never have waited so long to get this product!!! Long story shot… there is only less hairy girl in the world. I can not recommend this product enough! Worth every cent!!!!!”…read more reviews here

value permanent solution

s very excited to trial an at home laser treatment. I had never considered laser in the past but after getting my underarms done at a salon last year I am a convert. I am not quite confident enough to get my bikini area done at a salon so was keen to do it myself at home and give away with shaving. The product comes with the device itself, a power base, long cord and a precision head. It is packaged quite well in the box so that you can easily re-pack it into the box for next time. It has indicator lights and makes a noise when a pulse is delivered so there is no way of getting confused about where you have treated. The cord was a little hard to negotiate also – I think it’s important to spend time setting yourself up in a comfortable position where the cord is not in the way and preferably where you have a mirror so you can see what you’re doing from all angles! Fair warning if you have never done laser before – it hurts! I think it hurt a little more than regular laser at first because I knew it was coming, that is, I was doing it to myself. This was hard to get over and I had to treat small sections at a time over the first few weeks, It gets easier over time. I have only used the device on the sensitive setting as I have sensitive skin. I still think the pain of laser is preferable to waxing though – it is a split second pain and no sticky wax residue left over afterwards. When I received the i-Light I was very excited, but was initially a little put off by the instructions – there is a lot of “What not to do” and not very obvious user guides. I think if I hadn’t had laser done in a salon this would have really freaked me out. This is the one area the product could really improve – if it came with an illustrated how to book, or links to online tutorials. This would make it much more palatable for beginners. I have noticed a significant slowing of hair growth in the treated areas and am very happy with the results. As with regular laser it will take longer and more treatments for lasting results but so far so good. It is incredibly cost effective for the result achieved, much more so than any other form of hair removal. I have seen this product advertised in sales for almost half the RRP so think it could be an amazing buy for anyone considering laser treatments.”…read more reviews here
