, Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots is an intensive hair repair treatment. It’s formulated with a deeply absorbing blend of Pro-Vitamin B5 and the highest level of strengthening lipids that penetrate and condition the hair, giving it the strength and flexibility it needs to endure styling, colouring and environmental stresses. The single dose-tube contains natural glycerin and lipids, which target dry damaged hair, and leaves hair soft and shiny in just one use.  Most of the members on this trial were impressed with how hydrated their hair felt after use, with a few reviews mentioning how soft and shiny their hair felt. Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots works well on a variety of hair types, and that was reflected in the reviews. Only half of the ampoule is what I needed to use and the screw on lid is very practical for those of us who don’t use the whole tube in a go. I have fine but lots of it medium to long hair and I applied it from about halfway down my lengths and making sure I got it well into my tips and ends. I avoided the crown area but I did put some of it on my greys (to see if it would get a benefit) which are sparse but they are there just around some areas that frame my face. I left it in for three minutes (approximately) after I’d shampooed and conditioned my hair. So this is used like a treatment product – kind of like I’d use a hair mask. I rinsed it out well afterwards and then went to bed. On waking the next morning my hair felt simply amazing and I do love these Pantene Intense Rescue Shots without a doubt! Well it did soften my few greys and it totally softened and strengthened my lengths and tips. I applied it one night, went surfiing the following day and then washed my hair as usual after the beach and found that after my hair dried, my hair still felt great from the Pantene Shot from the night before – and again then day after that too. The formula has a sweetly fresh and fruity scent (very Pantene sort of scent) which is very pleasant. The effects of this product make my hair easier to look after and brush and makes me feel like I am having good hair days. I was definitely impressed with these rescue shots I used one last week and another this week and I found that both times it made my hair super soft and shine. I used the whole shot, as I have long hair. I personally would have liked slightly more product in the shot due to the length of my hair. The scent was fresh and fruity, which I really liked. The screw top bottle made it easy to use the product. I left the treatment on my hair for a few minutes. It had a nice consistency to it and as soon as I put it on my hair I could feel the smoothness. Once I had rinsed the shot out of my hair it still felt incredibly smooth. I blow dried and styled my hair after using the shot and my hair looked incredible. It was so soft and had a lovely shine to it. My hair felt lovely for days after using this rescue shot. I would recommend this product if you are wanting to hydrate your hair and give it a nice, nourishing treat. For this reason I was interested to try out these shots on my hair. There are 3 tubes in the box and lots of room so 4 would have been a great idea when manufacturing. I do love that these tubes are a twist off lid so I can place the lid back on and not one of those turn and flick off the ends. I found for my length of hair I still had a bit left in the tube and this continued for my second wash using another tube. You can push down to the bottom of the tube to release more of the cream out. The fragrance is a slightly fruity but not overpowering at all. It’s a soft scent for even the most sensitive nose. The directions on the packet do not say how long to leave the shot in but Beauty Heaven told us in the email to leave for 1 minute. The suggestion on the box is after you use your Pantene shampoo and conditioner to dispense the ampoule on to your hand and apply. I used my own shampoo and conditioner and then just squeezed out the water and applied the ampoule from the roots to the ends and left for the minute. It was then just rinsed out. I have to admit even with my hair wet, it felt silky on. I did worry that applying to my roots it might make my hair look greasy after one day but I had no problems at all. The roots and the rest of my hair feel fabulously silky and very hydrated to touch. I have been able to use this product for 3 washes as my hair is very dry so the results of the product for me are about 80% it does make my hair silkier and less dry. I do have to say after my first wash of trialling this product, I didn’t see any great results so it was only after my second wash that the benefits were seen. Also after my first wash I do what I always do after washing my hair, I rinse my hair with cool water. I wondered if maybe this didn’t help as I didn’t see my hair softer. So the next wash I skipped on the cold rinse after the warm water and I am sure it made a difference. I also found straightening my hair with no other products made my hair very soft. At this stage I am not aware of the price but I think I will continue to see how it goes. I have used other products for dry hair and found they weighed my hair down but I can honestly say that these amoulets didn’t weigh down my hair and my hair felt very rejuvenated. I love the smell of all of the Pantene conditioners/ treatments and this one is also divine! It reminds me of lollies and I find it really uplifting. The box contains 3 tube shots and the consistency is thick and white in colour. It is quick and easy to apply and I left it on for around 3 minutes. I used it in the shower so 3 minutes was a really convenient time frame. It wasn’t as easy to comb when it was wet as I thought it would be but my hair is shinier and the curl is more controlled. As usual the smell won me over instantly. The package arrived in the mail and I have not been able to stop washing my hair simply to use these ampoules. The packet is a nice size that holds 3 large intense rescue shot ampoules. The packaging is very attractive, in gold and black with the ampoules on the cover also a statement of what they are used for written on the front. The back of the packet explains how to use them and to my surprise they are made in Brazil. All good things come from Brazil so I am very happy. I follow the steps 1 and 2 of washing and moisturising my hair with Pantene products which are not expensive but excellent value for money. I rinse my hair clean and then unscrew the 15ml ampoule where a dense white cream is released. This is intense, the smell is soft and nice, and as I work it into the mid lengths to ends of my hair I realise how nourishing this product is. I loved the beautiful richness of how this product felt and was inclined to keep playing with my wet hair to absorb every last drop of goodness of this ampoule. I let my hair air dry. My hair is 53 years old, highly highly damaged, bleached, greying, course, split ends everywhere, needs a lot of TLC and was I going in to a hairdresser for a ‘service’ soon. This ampoule to my surprise, has left my very thick, course hair nice and smooth and my once frizzy split ends have a lovely curl rather than a ‘zap of electricity’ look. I highly recommend this product for anyone that is using colour on their hair, with ageing hair, with just grey hair or anyone in need to visit a salon for a trim but does not have the time. I will be adding the ampoule to my hair regime from now on. Congratulations Pantene, I love the “secret behind” my hair now, this stuff is a cream dream.
