The Manicare® Crystal Hair Remover is an at-home body hair-removing device. Its ergonomic design has been built using premium ultra-fine crystal technology that works to buff away dead skin as it removes hair, instantly leaving behind a soft and smooth canvas.

“It actually works,” was the feedback from the majority of Trial Team members. Why were they surprised? Well, pain-free, affordable hair removal that wouldn’t trigger ‘strawberry skin’ and would last more than two days sounded too good to be true.

As for the physical design, members appreciated the ergonomic shape as – “unlike some razors” – it was comfortable to grip onto and was easy to manoeuvre around typically awkward spots like the kneecaps and underarms.

The device (which comes recommended as the final part of a 3-step routine) can be used alone or alongside Manicare’s Exfoliating Body Sponge and Eco Exfoliating Gloves. Members were particularly impressed with results when the Crystal Hair Remover was applied following a deep exfoliation using the Eco Exfoliating Gloves. However the hair remover itself also offers dead skin removal, so a light exfoliation comes as a bonus when removing hair.

To harness the best results, members of the Trial Team used the tool as a maintenance strategy between laser hair removal or waxing appointments when hair was at a more manageable length (resembling stubble). Alongside reducing the appearance of body hair regrowth, Trial Team members were pleased to report the reduction of clogged hair follicles and in turn, ingrown hairs.

As a result of the ease of use, pain-free application and of course, visible benefits in the smoothness and glow of their skin, members of the Trial Team were very vocal in their eagerness to continue using Manicare’s product at the conclusion of the trial.

“This product was a complete surprise to me. I’ve seen it on TikTok and just thought it was a scam, until I tried it. I thought it would either be painful or not work at all. I was wrong! It’s so easy to use, I sat on the toilet lid in my bathroom and followed the instructions, it took me about 5 minutes to complete both full legs. I was shocked at how fast and pain-free it was! My legs were so smooth. It leaves kind of a light dust over your leg at the end which I wiped off with a damp towel. This is a great alternative if you don’t have time to shower and shave your legs.
