Kate Moss has gone and proved yet again that she is as iconic as she always was (we’ve spent hours contouring for cheekbones like those). Making her Victoria’s Secret Catwalk debut at 50 years alongside her equally as stunning daughter (Lila Moss). But that sheer lace slip left us wondering, how does she keep her skin so firm and gloriously hydrated?
Well, lucky for us, because Kate shared with The Standard exactly what’s involved. And surprisingly, there’s only one step to hydration and it’s in the form of a body oil. Kate’s hot tip for application? She “appl(ies) it after having a shower in the morning, and it smells like summer”.
Bet you’re wondering what it could be? Well, we’ve found out Kate’s secret to hydrated, nourished skin, and we’re spilling all the deets below…
Kate Moss’ Favourite Body Oil
If you’re anything like us (and Kate, apparently), the scent of Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa 62 (which is actually vanilla and pistachio) makes you think of long summer days. It’s become such a cult classic product for the sake of it’s scent. But that doesn’t stop it also being an incredibly hydrate, skin-boosting range.
And this moisturising, skin-firming oil is absolutely no different. Designed to leave your skin feeling hydrated (sans the gross greasiness) thanks to Brazilian olive oil. While a clever guaraná caffeine+ complex™ works on addressing the appearance of your skin’s firmness — this must be the secret to Kate’s taut skin.
Key Features:
- Works to firm skin
- Enriched with depuffing sustainably-sourced micro algae extract
- Deeply hydrates without greasy feel
- Iconic tropical ‘bum bum’ scent
- Formulated with guaraná caffeine+ complex™
Available at:
- From $85.61 at Revolve
Not sure about you, but a hydrated, tropical-scented body sounds like our perfect way to spend summer.

Do you use a body oil? Would you try Kate Moss’ fave oil?
Didn’t know the brand sold body oil
Yes maybe it is a new one
Sounds good, maybe give it a try
I hardly ever use a body oil.
I thought it would make everything oily but it doesn’t it seems to be absorbed immediately
Some are really oily and don’t soak in, I supppose its some trial and error involved
Oof that price though.
I love body oils especially when im wearing a dress or skirt showing off my arms and legs it gives them a nice shine
I’d only use a body oil that’s easily absorbed and doesn’t leave a residue – especially during summer! In the past I’ve only used the Bopo brand body oils which are all natural, Australian made and contain Jojoba Oil, coconut oils and various essential oils which smell divine. The bottles are beautiful too. I’d love to try this one but not sure about the price 🌻
Haven’t heard of this brand before
Looks like a lovely oil
Would try this in winter
I rarely use a body moisturiser The vanilla & pistachio scent sounds divine, but that price tag puts me off. Aah, to have Kate’s money!
You wouldn’t believe she’s 50 – she’s barely changed.
The scent sounds amazing, hope this product comes to Mecca so I can try it out.
