A hairy legs movement has gone viral online, challenging women to bare their unshaven pins in protest of unrealistic social expectations of beauty.
With online communities including the Hairy Legs Club blog on tumblr and WANG (or Women Against Non-essential Grooming) on Facebook, the movement has generated thousands of pictures of women with hairy legs in a bid to say no to hair removal.
While we’re unsure whether we’ll be participating, we can’t deny it’s perfect timing for ladies who’ve let their leg hair grow a little longer this winter. I’m looking at you!
