“I must confess I’m not much of a ‘candle’ person. I used to think they were more for decoration than anything else. But after trying the Violet, Fig & Cassis candle from Ecoya, I have been converted. The candle sat on the dresser in my room for about three days before I even bothered to light it. Each day I would come home and think ‘god my room smells nice’, but I never made the connection that it was the candle filling my room with such a pleasant aroma. It wasn’t even lit yet! The scent is a floral and sweet combination, and with the mixture of violet and fig, it’s a real stand out. Once it was lit, the smell became stronger and I was able to move it into the lounge room, where it filled the room and lingered up the hallway, covering quite a large area. I have since used it four more times and it’s still going just as strong. Plus it burns nice and evenly so that all the wax is being used and not left up the sides of the holder. If you love a good candle, definitely keep an eye out for this one in February!”

“I am such a fan of a faux glow, as long as it’s not orange – or obviously fake! What I loved about this gradual tan is that I could build up the colour day after day until I was happy with my hue. It also didn’t have any of that obvious ‘fake tan’ stink that a lot of other tans have and it was nourishing for my skin, too! I would have liked the colour to come around a little bit faster, but I guess I’m a bit of a chronic tanner and those who are a bit more cautious would probably benefit from having more control over the depth of colour. The colour is very natural, a light brown instead of an orange tint. I was very happy with the result and how soft my skin felt while using this. I also loved that the colour faded away evenly, instead of leaving spots on my body!”

“As far as I’m concerned, there’s no such thing as owning too many bright lipsticks – especially during summer. This eye-catching pink hue is one of my favourites, but this lipstick isn’t just about the pigmented colour. The lippie glides on like a dream (no catching on your skin!) and feels almost like you’re wearing a balm. My lips never felt dry or uncomfortable and the colour lasted ages – even after a few cups of tea. My tip for having the colour last longer? Apply the lipstick in layers, pressing your lips together in between each one.”

“I’m very lazy when it comes to my hair maintenance. I find waiting around for products to set in takes too much time. So this FRIZZ-EASE glossing spray is absolutely perfect for me!
