DU’IT Tough Hands for Her is a potent, hydrating hand moisturiser with anti-ageing properties. It helps to guard against premature ageing, visibly brightens, conditions skin, cuticles and nails, whilst increasing moisture levels with long lasting hydration. It is formulated with a powerful peptide blend that supports natural collagen, and softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains panthenol for firming and niacinamide for skin elasticity.
Most triallers found that the DU’IT Tough Hands for Her helped to moisturise their hands and minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. They found that the formula was non-greasy, dried quickly and they only needed a small amount of product. They liked that the product had a light scent that wasn’t too overpowering. Triallers were impressed with the packaging as they found it was easy to take with them on-the-go. Most triallers felt that the product was effective and was also great value.

lent value, quick and lasting effect
as I was thinking I really should start using a hand cream daily, I received Du’it Tough Hands For Her. My hands had been getting a bit rough and dry, with some redness over the knuckles. Normally I look after the rest of myself very well, but I was letting myself down in the hands department. Tough hands comes in a 75g tube, which looks small at first, but you only need a little, and it is very well priced. It has a very soft scent, not the botanical scent or completely fragrance free I’d prefer, but really, I think it would suit the vast majority. “Tough hands” is maybe a bit misleading, as it’s not a waterproof barrier cream, but rather a very silky translucent readily absorbed cream. Not runny, thick or waxy, but just as it should be. Easy to apply, absorb, and get on with things. So, I found a difference VERY soon, with my hands softer, hydrated, and the redness dissipated. What’s more, the good effects lasted when I wasn’t using it. I was happy that it washes away easily, as I wear contact lenses, and the perfume was not overpowering.

honestly blown away by the results of this hand cream! It is the first time in my life that I have seen an immediate result on my skin after application! The cream comes in a standard tube with flip-top lid. It is a good size, and is perfect for carrying around in a handbag or work satchel. The cream has the consistency of an opaque jelly (similar to Vaseline, but not as thick) and absorbs into the skin immediately. It is not oily or greasy, but does leave a very light ‘sticky’ feeling on the skin. Not much is required… a little goes a long way. The fragrance of the cream is quite difficult to describe – it has sort of a medical smell but it is not at all overpowering. I personally do not have dry, rough or calloused skin, as I work in an office environment and my hands are somewhat protected from the elements. However I do have dehydrated skin that is ageing, and I can see fine lines and wrinkles on my hands. This skin repair cream actually improved my skin and made it look younger, in just 3 days! Even after the first application, my skin felt plumper and softer and more supple. I can actually see a significant reduction in the fine lines on my hand skin.

“Tough Hands for Her Intensive Skin Repair” Hand Cream comes in a silvery 75g plastic tube with a berry coloured flip top lid which is very practical as I like opening my hand creams with just one hand. I also like the fact that this hand cream contains Urea as this is a fantastic ingredient for soothing and healing cracked and rough skin. Another thing I like about this product is that it is made in Australia. You only need a tiny amount for your hands, perhaps as much as the size of a pea. You can always add more if you find it necessary but it would be a shame to waste this wonderful product. I imagine that this 75g tube will last a very long, long time if you only use the very small amount that is needed.
The product is not greasy but does have a slight shine after it is applied and you can feel that you have applied something. I would not call it a lightweight cream. It does feel a little sticky but not truly worth mentioning as this ‘slight stickiness’ wears off very quickly. The product soaks quickly into the skin and does leave your hands feeling soft and soothed, especially around cracked fingers. I have very rough and dry hands but after using this cream a few times a day, it really made a difference. It did not take away any wrinkles on the back of my hands but it made the hands feel much, much softer and younger looking.

ey to using this hand cream is to use it sparingly. Too much, and it will feel sticky and take a while to absorb. It took a couple of applications to fine tune this and I found that a pea-sized amount was about right for both hands. This makes the already well priced product even more cost-effective. Using this small amount, the cream absorbed quickly and left a thin film on the hands. This felt like a protective barrier rather than feeling tacky or sticky. My hands looked and felt instantly hydrated and smooth upon application. They appeared younger and less crepey. The cream itself has a light, slightly floral fragrance which isn’t overpowering. While pleasant enough, I probably wouldn’t select it on its scent alone. The cream is packaged in a soft tube with a flip top lid for easy application. The look of the packaging is functional rather than attractive, and wouldn’t necessarily be the most appealing on the shelf. It’s not a luxurious product, nor doesn’t it claim to be – it is more of a work-horse than a diva. It is, however, a solid performer; effective and economical.

u’It Tough Hands for Her has a pleasant smell, I think it smells a little of apple pie? I prefer this subtle fragrance, as I sleep with my hands near my face and I don’t like it if my hand cream has too strong a scent. This is a thicker, white opaque cream. It feels a little waxy/greasy on application, although it absorbs quickly as long as you only apply a little. I think it would be easy to apply too much, and would then not absorb very well. Thanks to the colder weather, my hands and cuticles have been very dry recently. Regular use of this cream has definitely helped to improve the condition of my hands, but hasn’t helped my cuticles much. I think only an oil will help them.
