As the commencement of October has us edging one step closer to summer, holidays and all the best fruits the warmer seasons have to offer, it also marks one other incredibly important occasion: Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM).

With eight women still dying every day from the disease and 55 Australians being diagnosed every single day, the annual international health campaign aims to increase awareness and raises funds towards the much needed research and resources for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of breast cancer.
To help play their part, the beauty industry band together to release limited-edition, pink-themed products in support of the campaign and to contribute to their relevant charities such as Breast Cancer Network Australia, Look Good Feel Better® and the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
Here are some of your favourite brands who are doing their bit for Breast Cancer Awareness this year:
Estee Lauder
With over 25 years of raising awareness for breast cancer, Estee Lauder are back in 2020 with another rally for The Breast Cancer Campaign’s commitment to end this disease in our lifetime.
Raising over $89 million in global research support, education and medical services, as well as $73 million worth of funding for medical research grants, the late Evelyn H. Lauder has been committed to the dream of a breast cancer-free world. For more information on this year’s campaign, and the iconic bold pink ribbon (co-created by Evelyn H. Lauder), check it out here.

John Frieda
In honour of BCAM, John Frieda has launched a limited-edition John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength Pink Serum, available exclusively at Priceline and Priceline Pharmacy.
For every serum sold, John Frieda will donate $2 to the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) – a beautiful community created to support men and women affected by breast cancer.

Jane Iredale The Rose Hydration Mist must smell awesome and it looks so pretty too.
I love the look of the GHD products and even better, part of what you pay will go to a good cause. Win win for all!
GHDs look so pretty in dusty light pink. I have all in black .
Always supporting this cause!
I would prefer to just donate directly to a charity.
wow, look at that hot pink estee lauder! i must get one.
Dove usually have their pink range that comes out each year for breast cancer support also.
The Estee lauder looks so pretty.
They are nice ideas and great if you are looking to buy a new bottle of something or a new hair dryer but overall direct donations are much easier for me.
Yes, I usually buy a pink ribbon deodorant when it comes out, each year.
I always choose the pink ribbon products, if they’re available. There seem to be more brands getting into this, every year!
Will keep my eyes open for products supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month such a worthy cause and we need to have No Women Dying from Breast Cancer and Ovarian Cancer.
And the Dove deodorants always smell so lovely as well misfortune8
I can see the ghd making a great prezzie for xmas for one of my daughters who loves pink to pieces
It’s good to see companies working towards supporting breast cancer awareness.
Ugh it’s $51 a bottle and I’d go through it way to quick to really be worth it – though it would be helping a good cause – now I’m twisting my own arm!! lol
I want that!!
I use the Natio Rosewater Mist. It is lovely and affordable but not in such luxe packaging.
Love the ANR bottle! And for such a great cause
I think everything is better in pink!

I like that these companies will go pink for breast cancer research!
Great to see big brands supporting important causes! And pink does make all products look more fun.
I love the light pink GHDs! They look so nice
I’d buy those for the packaging alone.
This is a cause close to heart. It’s great seeing companies contributing to breast cancer causes. I know there are mixed views on pink washing but if you’re going to buy a product why not support a cause too. I’m a sucker for anything pink 🙂
It really is wonderful to see beauty brands show their support and I would love to purchase these products.
It’s so good to see more and more brands come out to aid in breast cancer research.
