If you, like us, spend most of your time at home in trackie pants and chunky knits, body care is probably the last thing on your mind — until you put on a date night dress and discover your legs look (and feel) like sandpaper.
You may find that your lightweight summer lotions just don’t do the trick as the mercury (along with your skin’s hydration) drops. But thankfully, there are a slew of nourishing body creams to help keep your skin silky soft and hydrated all winter long.
And although we can’t promise these products will give you JLo’s toned, bronzed pins, your skin will certainly thank you for giving it the TLC it needs.

Which of these body creams will you be reaching for this winter?
Curious about the Bum Bum Cream, is it just for the Bum, or is it a body cream? Because it is a lot of money to just put cream on my bum.
I’m not sure I want to buy a cream called bum cream…my children will have endless laughs.
I think the word b u m is censored on this site isn’t it?
How silly?! That is the name of the product that is in this article.
It sure is a funny name for a product,
That’s right. Very funny.
It smells amazing though. I think it is just the name as it can be used for the whole body.
These look so amazing for my skin right now.
I use an Aveeno Sheer Hydration lotion, Cetaphil moisturising cream and sometimes just plain unrefined organic coconut oil.
I love the Weleda SkinFood
I’ve tried the Lipikar AP cream but not the +M, will give it a go, the older version was great for the winter and I loved that it was fragrance free
Nothing beats Nivea- a classic for all seasons!
I’ve used the L’Occitane and Weleda creams – they are both effective. On my skin, L’Occitane probably works better, but it is also more expensive, so it’s a trade off. A Bum Bum cream? I think that one is a bit too specialised for my needs.
Add to cart, thanks!
Interesting name Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream They say it smells heavenly. Wonder what it does smell like
I WOULD NEVER BUY SOMETHING CALLED BUM BuM AS ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WOULD THINK i HAD SOME KIND OF A FETISH..WHAT A STUPID NAME FOR A CREAM.
It is kinda weird!! 🙂
haha Shaper that’s right. I won’t be buying Bum Bum Cream either.
Love using a body scrub before too
La Roche-Posay’s lotion sounds good. For a body lotion Weleda should come in a larger size
These all sound great, but most creams will help if you use them regularly.
Didn’t realise DU’IT had niacinamide in it. And a great price point too!
Yeah it’s a really good value cream!
Any body butter is great!
That’s true
I like using body butter its great!
Some of these sound really nice. I’ve heard good things about Skin Food
I love that La Roche Posay always makes an appearance on these kind of lists
I love La Roche Posay’s facial skincare but haven’t tried their body care range yet. I bet it’s just as good
Oh, my! I want the bum bum cream just for the name. Would love to say to hubby “Pass me my bum bum cream” and the look I’d get
I love DU’IT Tough Body Probiotic Lotion. It gives great hydration to my dry skin specially in these cooler months.
I’ve been slack with moisturising my body lately. Too cold when I get out of the shower lol but must make an effort
probiotics in duit cream is impressive!!
Nice list, very keen to try some
I like the Bum Bum cream, it’s very rich and smells yummy 🙂
I have tried the Bum Bum cream, but I prefer a lotion. I love Kiehl’s Creme de Corps.
I used to love the Body Shop’s body butter in Nut Butter – it smelled like caramel, so rich and luscious.
