Is there a more relaxing feeling than sinking into a moment of self-care? We think not. And how do we create those moments that leave us feeling not only relaxed but also leave our whole bodies rejuvenated? By stepping into a simmering bath, that’s how.
In our humble opinion, bath time is a year-round practice. Sure the temperature might change from scolding hot to lukewarm, but the rituals remain the same. So we’re taking you through a step by step bath time ritual, bound to leave your senses and skin feeling relaxed, refreshed, and totally rejuvenated…
Best Bath Rituals
CIRCA Jasmine & Magnolia Soy Candle
We say: The first step in creating a calm space for your bath time ritual? Lighting a candle. It’s such a simple step to elevate the serenity of what is an everyday essential. Our choice of fragrance: a romantic fresh floral blend of jasmine and magnolia.
You say: “I have been really happy with how strong the scent throw is considering the size. I have it burning on the window sill in my home office, and I can still smell it in the other rooms of my house! It has a beautiful strong floral scent, burns evenly, and lasts quite a while.” – Lizabella

You say: “This is the ideal way to relax, unwind and clear your airways! I recently had a cold and was very congested. I luckily had this beauty in my bathroom cupboard and it came in so handy. It cleared my nose and made me feel so much better! The minty aroma is very soothing and enabled me to breathe through my nose again. The effects lasted for hours.” Jessie Newtown

BIODERMA Atoderm Ultra-Nourishing Shower Oil Cleanser
We say: Now, we’re not suggesting you use the Bioderma oil cleanser to cleanse your face in the bath water you’ve just been soaking in. (although this multi-function cleanser is very capable of cleansing away makeup). We’re suggesting you use this one as a beautifully hydrating body cleanser (because bodies get bumps too). Not only will your skin be cleansed but it’ll be left with a nourishing hit of hydration for when you step out of the bath.
You say: “I purchased this product with the intent of using it as a face oil cleanser however I ended up using it as a whole body cleanser in the shower. Once my skin was damp in the shower I applied one pump to my hand and worked around my body. It worked quite well with the damp skin and didn’t have that usual oil-water reaction. The product doesn’t have any smell which may be advantageous for some. The packaging is really easy to use and the pump system exercises good product control. I didn’t experience any breakouts around my body as a result of using this product.” – Adelina633

Do you have any steps to creating the best bath ever? Will you try out our ritual?
Unfortunately there’s no bathtub in this house. 🙁
What a shame -Nothing like a long soak.
We have one but it is not used very often and certainly not by me.
A bath sounds like a great idea right now.
Gee can’t remember how long ago I had a bath. Nowadays the tub is used to wash blankets that don’t fit in the WM.
I love a hot bath in the middle of winter -MMMM !!
I use the bath for washing large items too.
I take my blankets to the laundrymat. Cant lift them out of the bath they get so heavy when wet.
I love bubble baths, bath bombs & oils. Lately, I’ve been using Bathefex salts.
We don’t have a bath tub at our place, I miss having one so much.
I always found that the water got cold so quickly
I prefer the Bioderma as a body cleanser. I don’t like it for the face at all.
It’s not really the time of the year I have a bath, but oils are nice and Bioderma stops my skin from getting too dry.
I have a bathtub but I rarely use it! This might be the motivation I need
yes I don’t have baths often but love them when I do.
Same here, never use the bath. My daughters use it when they stay for a holiday.
I rarely have baths. Use to have them weekly and I miss how relaxing they are.
I just love a special bath with bubbles.
I do love having a bath although haven’t had one for ages. I have lots of bath bombs and they can lose their fragrance over time so I should have a bath soon.
Always a shower here, quick and refreshing. Shower Gels rule.
I have to say that I never bath, only shower. So much easier and quicker.
BIODERMA Atoderm Ultra-Nourishing Shower Oil Cleanser sound like a nice product to use.
i cannot do without a bath if I have been outside working hard.A long hot soak after.
