Aussie brand ModelCo are well-known for being innovators in the beauty industry – in fact, they pretty much invented the at-home tanning category when they released the first ever aerosol self tan, TAN Airbrush in a Can. Tanning junkies across the world have a lot to thank ModelCo for, which is why we were so excited when they launched a new range of ModelCo tan last year.

The new range of ModelCo tan is designed to give the wearer the ultimate deep bronze glow. Being big fans of a dark tan, we decided to try the ModelCo Self-Tan Mousse Ultra Dark to see just how well it performs. The formula also contains caffeine and guarana to help firm and tone the skin, plus organic aloe vera, organic cacao, coconut oil and vitamin E hydrate and moisturise the skin.
The formula is fast-acting, meaning that you can choose how long you’d like to leave it on depending on the level of bronze you want to achieve. According to ModelCo, you can leave the tan on for a little as one hour for a sunkissed look, two hours for a dark bronze colour and three hours or more for an ultra dark tan.
