Are you looking for a new hairstyle that’s different to classic ‘dos you see day after day? Perhaps you’ve had your fill of the boring braid and want to mix things up a bit?
Well, we brought in bh-branded ‘braid expert’, Dionne, to tackle the difficult-looking fishtail plait, and soon discovered that it’s actually so super simple, anyone can be an expert in no time at all!
Notes to keep in mind:
– This style works well on long, straight hair.
– It’s best if the hair isn’t heavily layered (but looks awesome if you’ve got highlights).
– Start with thicker pieces near the nape of your neck, and make them thinner as you descend.
– Make sure to pull your strands after every step to create tension and a tighter finish.
– Stop your braid when the hair starts get very short at the ends.
– Secure your hair with a snag-free elastic band to avoid damaging your ends. Try: Scunci Beautiful Blends.
