“I always try different hair colours, anything new that is advertised I will try so when I saw a magazine ad for Perfect Mousse I thought it was worth a try. I have very dark hair to start with so of course if you put colour on coloured hair you are going to go darker. I didn’t need to go darker than black anyway. I chose Chocolate Brown and absolutely loved the result without going black. I have heaps of greys just in my front part so I really concentrated on them and the rest of my hair roots, towards the end adding the rest of the formula. This is the easiest hair colour to use, it seriously doesn’t drip, there are no harsh smells being ammonia free, it wipes off the skin easily and when drying my hair is still soft unlike some colours that leave the hair course. This keeps my greys away for 4-6 weeks so I am perfectly happy with that. Remember a permanent hair colour cannot lighten previously coloured hair, therefore it will only become darker, so a root touch up may be all you need every 4 to 6 weeks!” Rating: 5/5 – Gofton
